Report Review
We pulled in around 6pm and was greeted by the Eau Gallie Yacht Basin Community. We had been out to sea for 3 days and were in need of some provisions - Mr. Dennis drove us to the local Publix, where we picked up some provisions and some potato and macaroni salad for the Wednesday potluck.
What a great bunch of people and what a great facility. We were fed at the potluck, took a shower, was able to do a load of laundry, as well a pump out (equipment was in great shape). The marina was so clean and kept up, We were very pleased with the boats in the marina as well. It's nice to see that there are marinas out there still interested in sailing/boating and have a sense of pride in their stuff as well as where they live. We had been sailing since May and The Eau Gallie Yacht Basin Marina was, by far, the best marina we stayed at. This is the kind of place that we want to make our homeport. Most excellent!!
