Mooring ball pendant was really short, had to rig a line to loop through it. Went into dock, crowded dinghy dock, no restrooms (except at restaurant), no ice, no grocery- they need to update DockWa listing

Hello Edward, I will have our General Manager look at that mooring pendant- thank you for letting us know. Our docks are busy due to seasonal rentals and the people coming in for the restaurant. Yes our restrooms are at the restaurant and we do not advertise that we have ice, and as stated on dockwa the store is within 5miles and people can use the free bus system that MDI provides " The Island Explorer" to get to ice and groceries. Not sure if the problems were with Abel’s or Dockwa, but our reservation confirmed by Dockwa was apparently never received by Abel’s. Also not sure if they were paid via Dockwa. We picked up a mooring we liked, which was fine after the fact. No dock staff on site and no way to leave a phone message. We were completely out of water, but didn’t see an opening to go in to fill up due to a lot of wind and/or crowded dock space. We did have a great meal at the restaurant. Also, there was always plenty of space at the dinghy dock.

Hi Susan, You are all set in Dockwa, When I looked for your reservation I was home on my phone and not always easy to see reservations quickly on the small screen. We do not have dock staff, as we are a small boat yard. Our docks are busy due to seasonal rentals and the people coming in for the restaurant. Happy that your meal was pleasant at Abel's.
