If you are planning your next boating excursion, consider East Greenwich Bay as it has one of the loveliest coastlines on Narragansett Bay.
Located in the center of Rhode Island and covering 16 miles, the town of East Greenwich has a lot to offer visitors. Great eating establishments, fun entertainment and lots of history are among the choices you will have when visiting the East Greenwich Yacht Club. Get a sense of the town's history by taking a tour of the Hill and Harbour District where you will see houses dating back to the early 1600's.
Whether you want to relax on your boat, have a great meal or do a little dancing, East Greenwich is worth a visit!
Protected location, friendly launch staff, clean facilities and a quick walk to lots of great restaurants.
Launch service is excellent! Makes getting into town very easy!
This is a beautiful, cozy and quiet location with accommodating staffers.
Other than it being a weekend in mid August (very noisy waterfront bar and restaurant) the yacht club launch and personnel were excellent. The mooring pennant on the other hand was covered with a 2” diameter of barnacles and goo and without a float. It took about 5mins to work our way up to the eye with line and a boat hook. We slipped our own line through the eye and tied off so we wouldn’t have to touch it when we left. Be prepared when picking up a pennant here….
Most unfriendly yacht club I've come across. Parked my car there before arrival (left message and email) and they had it towed. Chris Voccio and his brother seem to run the place for their own benefit. When I contacted them they said I could pay the mooring rate to park my car or have it towed. I emailed I would be back in a COUPLE OF DAYS. They towed it. I can share the email thread if you want Chris.
Friendly and very helpful people. Emasculate facility.
Wished the bar was open and that all workers were sporting masks! Other than that, just fine. Beautiful renovations to the house and decks.
