Really big marina. The mega dock, where the transients are sent, is really long, busy and filled with 100+ foot charter yachts and sport fishers. Distances are huge, bicycle helpful and staff uses golf carts. Facilities well maintained. Wake on outside of mega dock can be rough so ask for inside. Current is strong, so only dock near slack. Dog grass is sadly lacking and a long walk away (quarter mile). Outside gate is a teaching hospital and busy road, not attractive for walking.
Shuttle to downtown is great and saved a fortune in Uber. Charleston is a great city. Staff is great and made the visit for us. Thanks Adam, Christian, Hannah, Sara, Clay for taking great care of us.
