Featuring electricity, water, and Wi-Fi at the marina, our exceptional resort amenities and activities are offered to all who chose to spend the night docked at the Tides Inn Marina.
Always a great place to spend time! Great service and amenities!
The bathrooms are just porta potties. Shocking given the rates they charge.
Beautiful setting on Carter Creek. Excellent service by the marina manager, Michael, and his staff. Excellent food in both the main restaurant and the casual poolside place called Fish Hawk. All this comes at a price. Be prepared to spend some money here. A number of amenities are included in the daily Resort Fee of $35, such as bicycles, kayaks, canoes, the waterfront boardwalk, etc.
The Tides Inn is an amazing destination- it's more than a marina. The resort caters to all of your needs while staying at the marina. The food is excellent at both restaurants! make sure to stop in and see the bar tenders - they are THE BEST! (Give a quick hello to Frank, Alexis and Brian!) I would highly recommend taking an art class with Theresa and visiting the garden and talk to Matt, their horticulturist. Do some SUP yoga and end the day by the firepit. The Marina itself is very nice with easy pump-out. Mike is great and makes sure all is right on the dock!
Mike and staff are the best. We had to change reservations and Mike was very accommodating.
Lovely spot. Helpful staff. Showers/rest rooms are below par for such a high end resort.
We enjoyed our two nights stay at The Tides. It is a very clean marina and the staff are all so helpful and kind. We will be back!
Had another great stay at Tides Inn Marina! Andrew (working the dock) was awesome. He greeted us upon arrival and helped tie up. He was also great helping our kids with the water toys. We enjoyed dinner at the newly reopened restaurant upstairs. Will be back very soon. Dave H
Tides Inn continues to make improvements to their facility. Can't wait to see it when lots of the work is complete. The beach is a lovely place to sit and have a beverage; the staff (especially at the marina and pool) is wonderful, the new "boardwalk" is and will be a perfect addition, the bikes make for perfect rides around town and the food was excellent this time! Of course, Salt and Meadow is crazy overpriced, but the Tides is upscale. Still miss the Lodge side of the resort that we used to go to years ago!
Nice place for families and kids but not as great for sailors. Heads/showers quite basic considering how much the dockage costs and no hot water in shower. Glad we came mid week when it was hardly full. Good at Salt and Meadow was delicious.
We love coming to the Tides! The staff and experience are always great.
Tides a very special place ... partly like returning to the easy times of the 1950's ... and much to do and even more to just "be". Marina is comfortable, well managed and worthy a few days or a week Tides is simply a wonderful place to spend a few days or a week. Great staff and food and a beautiful part of the lower Chesapeake ...
We stay here every Fall and Spring as we cruise North or Southbound. This is such a tranquil location worth the trip off the Chesapeake. Beautiful marina and Tidewater resort. Courteous and helpful staff. Pet friendly. The Chesapeake restaurant has wonderful food and great service.
Easily one of the very best marinas we’ve ever stayed in. Top notch in every respect. Cleanliness, helpfulness, the pool, the restaurants … all just superb. A bit pricey, but definitely worth it. Have stayed there 3 times and will definitely be back again!
Excellent Docks, Excellent staff, and a very nice Resort!
We love the Tides Inn it is a very special place and the staff go out of their way to take care of you!
Peace and tranquility. Good docks and staff. Incredible setting. The Inn is nice but needs routine maintenance, cleaning and landscape keeping. Great food in the restaurant.
Great destination for relaxation! Excellent job by Mike and the dock crew. Mike made sure our spa and dinner reservations were in order and his dock crew was always there to assist us with any needs we had.
Tides Inn Marina is a special stopover for us each year. The Dockmaster and staff are super efficient and will attempt to meet your dockage needs and dates for reservations. They are always there to assist with lines, getting your vessel secured and meeting your electrical hookup needs. They are big on customer service. If you are tired of boat meals, they have two dinning establishments, one upscale with inside or terrace dining and one poolside for casual meals. On the other hand, a short walk to the town of Irvington will bring you to the Local coffee shop for breakfast or lunch and restaurants that open later in the evening. Other amenities include dockside heads with showers, pool, free pump out service, water and fuel pumps are available. Also water toys are available for your use. Yes, it is a well known hotel/marina resort and on the pricy side when compared to the average marina but for a 2-3 night stay, it is a well deserved treat for you and your crew. We highly recommend the Tides.
Excellent marina and resort. Docks are first class. Plenary of water to get in and out of marina. The marine director, Stormy was outstanding. Very attentive to all of our needs. Lots of amenities at the resort. We will be back next year. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Helpful dock staff and excellent dinner. Great place to visit.
Excellent as always. However, dock hand would not respond to many attempts to hail them on ch. 16 and 9. Finally reached them by cell phone. Dock hand explained that he had forgotten to take his radio with him (!).
Five stars are just not enough! Absolutely amazing Marina and property. The service at the dock was exceptional, dock hands were friendly and helpful! Docks are in great condition, bathhouse, pool and laundry were very clean! Resort amenities were beyond amazing. If you have time make it a stop on your trip for a night or a weekend you will NOT be disappointed!
Tht Tides does not seem cater to mariners very well. Docks are nice but the facilities are glorified, stinky porta potties. We made dinner reservations that were messed up. Half of our party had to eat outside and the service was very slow even at our late hour of 8 pm. Par 3 course was well maintained. Pool needed cleaning. Staff at the pool were very nice and helpful. Way too expensive for what included.
We love the Tides Inn Marina. It is very expensive compared to comparable marinas on the Bay (about twice as expensive). But, we enjoy the staff, facilities, amenities, and recreational activities. Perhaps the high dock fee keeps it that way? Everything was wonderful and wish we could have stayed longer. Well worth the trip to this beautiful marina.
Exceptional. Outdoor dinner with live entertainment. A beautiful place.
The service was great throughout our whole stay from the minute we approached the marina, the help getting lines and tying up and that service continued throughout the resort and the entire town. Lovely place to visit, highly recommend this quaint boutique style resort and town.
Just a lovely setting and just lovely employees. My friend remarked how respectful all were. And I would add “fun”
Exceptional service with a smile. They make you feel like family~ Only downside for us is that we arrived by boat and were not previously given a head's up that the fuel dock was out of order. That created concerns for us trying to find another fuel dock during our departure.
The Tides Inn Marina is amazing. Beautiful floating docks, great amenities and professional courteous staff. One of the best marina’s on the bay!!
Super nice place. Great pool on a hot day with a restaurant next to it. Played 9 holes of golf at their pitch and put course and used their loaner bikes to go to town for lunch. The reason for only 4 stars is their WiFi was very weak. We were only halfway out on the dock. In spite of the WiFi the Tides Inn was a great stop.
Absolutely love this marina and the resort! We spend many a weekend here each boating season. Just got back from a Thanksgiving trip to the marina on the boat and it was perfect. The service from the marina to the inn to the restaurant could not have been better. Sad this was our last trip for the year but look forward to seeing all our friends again come April 2020!
