We've been here before, a year ago , and chose to stay here again for one night on our way up the Chesapeake Bay. Inherently , nothing wrong with the marina but it's not very dog friendly so I doubt that we will be back.
It was extraordinarily hot the day we arrived and the docks were so hot 🔥🥵 (we were warned thankfully by the dockhands). But it's a long way to where there's an area to walk the dogs and I just have to say that it was horrible for our girls. I stopped a few times to hose down their paws 🐾 but we couldn't wait to get back to the boat.
The area where we can walk the dogs is a public parking lot and people are smoking pot in their cars. We noticed that on our last visit a year ago too. But this time, we saw two condoms lying on the ground. So gross!
For this reason, and as long as we have our dogs traveling with us, we'll chose another marina.
I give this marina a 3 only because of the dog issues.
If you don't have dogs, then it's fine.
