Welcome to Our Beautiful Marina on Middle River!

Looking for a place to dock or launch your boat? Come visit us! Our marina offers protected waters and easy access to the Bay, making it the perfect spot for both new and seasoned boaters. We’re all about making your experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

We’ve recently expanded our hours and focused even more on great customer service. With new electric hookups for overnight slips and a larger staging area, we’ve got everything you need for a hassle-free boating experience. Plus, we’ve added more work racks for cleaning and repairs so you can keep your boat in tip-top shape.

Locally owned and operated, we’re proud of our marina's upgrades, including new piers and newly remodeled bathrooms and showers (finished in 2024). We were even honored with the Marina of the Year award from Dockage Magazine!

We’re also a certified Maryland Clean Marina, so you can feel good about being here. Need to host an event? We offer a beautiful park-like setting for weddings, baby showers, corporate gatherings, and more, all with plenty of parking and a security gate for peace of mind.

The "Boating Center" definitely isn't boater-focused and is not a true marina. Management is more concerned with the onsite restaurant and building what they claim are "houseboats" (they are really overpriced floating homes, not boats) instead of boater satisfaction. Several boaters are planning to leave. Water is very shallow and parking is limited due to the restaurant crowd, the onsite building of floating homes, and now a mini golf course. On top of what is already a crowded space, now they plan to add jet skis and kayaking which will be a further nuisance to boaters. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR BOAT FOR REPAIRS. The onsite boat repair crew has a horrible reputation for its ridiculously slow pace of work and lack of updates. Multiple boaters complain that their boats are worse off after leaving them for repairs there. The boating center management also makes up and increases prices on boaters with no explanation. A fellow boater's rate went up by $800 for his annual slip, with no explanation and despite him being aware that other boaters didn't experience this same increase. Much better and real marinas in the area to choose from.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While we respect that not every experience will be a perfect fit, we do feel it’s important to clarify several inaccuracies in this review. The individual posting this review came to our marina in 2025 after purchasing a severely compromised houseboat. From the beginning, our team — along with multiple independent marine professionals — strongly advised against investing further into the vessel due to its condition. Despite repeated conversations via email, text, and in person, those recommendations were not followed. Over time, the vessel created ongoing safety and liability concerns, including the lack of required insurance coverage. We worked patiently and respectfully to address these issues and ultimately requested that the vessel be removed in accordance with marina policies that are in place to protect all of our customers and the facility. We understand that this situation was frustrating, but the concerns expressed here do not reflect the broader experience of our boating community. Our marina has been privately owned and operated since 1965, and we remain committed to maintaining a safe, well-managed, and community-focused environment. We currently have a waitlist for slips and continue to invest in improvements that benefit both our boaters and the surrounding area. We recognize that there are many types of marinas, and we may not be the right fit for every boater — particularly those seeking a more DIY or lowest-cost option. Our focus has always been on quality, service, and fostering a respectful, engaged community. We wish this individual the best moving forward.
