A host of family-friendly amenities - from the heated pool and playscape to waterfront dining and the fuel dock/ship's store - make Safe Harbor Toledo Beach a popular summer boating home. Soak up a beautiful Lake Erie sunset or enjoy an afternoon game of horseshoes all in a naturally protected harbor surrounded by acres of untouched green space.
Very simple but nice Marina. Great bar/restaurant. Friendly staff. Grounds cool be kept nicer. One negative, no dock help so you’ll be on your own. Protected but easy access to Lake Erie and short trip to Toledo, Detroit and Put-in-Bay
People very nice. Good food and entertainment.
Safe Harbor Toledo Beach is one of the best! Has great staff with great facilities. Clean showers nice pool play area and area to ride your bike around. The restaurant is very good.
Everyone was super helpful. We arrived around 10pm Friday. The security guard help us to the launch and parking. The bath house got locked at some point Saturday evening but on call person was real helpful in getting it resolved. If we make it back to the east side of the state we will more than like stay with you again.
We booked a transient slip for one night and were awoken at 6am by two thiefs who boarded our boat attempting to steal our dinghy from atop the deck. Will not use this marina again. Unsafe.
I called on Wednesday about a boat that had been listed for sale for 5 days. I was told the boat was available to look at. I also called that morning and left a message to be sure and did not get a return call. I drove 2.5 hours to look at the boat and was told that it was sold and was only on the market for 1 day. Needless to say I was extremely upset. I don't think I have ever written a review for anything before. Not a good business practice.
Easy access with wide slips. Part store available. Has a resturant on site.
I wondered if they would be able to recover after the Big Boat Storage Fire in 2020. I'm happy to say that they're back and better than ever! Safe Harbor purchased them in 2021, and started making many new Improvements starting with changes in new management , new floating docks, new rack and launch and many more Improvments. Hat's off to everyone that had a hand in this!
Shout out to Jen and John they were amazing and could not be more helpful with our visit. We will definately be back. Very pretty marina and nice pool and bathhouse.
Nice marina! Transient wells are a side tie off. New dock is in. You need a 50ft shore cord for electrical hookup. No water as of now. The Sandbar restaurant is a blast! Reasonable prices for food and drinks. The gas dock has a pretty large inventory of boating stuff. Store has beer pop and a few other cold drinks. The transient well area is across the marina from the gas dock and restaurant. Bring walking shoes or a bike! Overall I would stay here again! Shelly our bartender worked her tail off both nights. Special thanks to her!
The GM (who’s name escapes me) took great care of us on short notice. Marina was very lively for 4th of July weekend and the restaurant had great food. My only wish is that there was better transportation for within the marina, such as community bikes or something. Pool/amenities seemed far from eachother for a hot days walk Very appreciative for the last minute slip
Marina is nice and has a nice bar/restaurant. Bathrooms/showers were reasonably clean but no hot water for the whole weekend. Has a nice pool that we didn’t use but it seemed warm enough to swim in for memorial weekend. Staff was nice and reserving a transit site was easy but didn’t include a picnic table or anything other than dock and hook ups. Lots of money being dumped into the marina as it looked like new docks were being added. Only 1 small ramp but it was not busy so launching and removing was super simple and stress free.
Reservation and email containing marina map was great. Slip number given and docking behind black tiara did not match up…… no big deal. Nice little spot
Safe Harbor Toledo Beach has an excellent fuel dock staffed with helpful staff and a good restaurant with a lively vibe. We enjoyed a very good band over the 4th of July weekend. It’s a large Marina. Unlike most marinas, there is no assistance in getting into your slip which is very helpful to transients. The laundry equipment is well past it’s prime and should be replaced. The pool is described as heated but I think the sun must be the only source!
Great service at the fuel and pump out dock. Restaurant was full with a band. 50 amp service with plenty of room for large boats. Walk from some slips to restaurant is quite a hike.
We never stayed. I could not find anyone to tell me what dock was mine.
Cozy marina with good services and facilities. Really enjoyed the open air covered patio of the Sandpiper grill/bar.
