Located at the Southeast corner of Governor’s Harbour, our quaint and private yacht harbour is the first marina in the area. The fixed mega yacht slip can accommodate (2) yachts up to 160 feet. Our Marriott Autograph French Leave Resort Hotel also has the 1648 Restaurant and bar that is open Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner 7 days a week. Private overnight villas may also be booked by going to www.marriott.com/elhak
Great staff and calm waters in an east wind. Reliable power and great pool and restaurant.
This is not our first time, nor our last. We stayed at French Leave this time for a family reunion of over 35 persons. The entire resort was ours to use privately. The entire staff has always been very helpful and courteous. They tended to our basic needs and a few special requests without hesitation. Rupesh runs a tight ship and one I can appreciate. The slip supports our 38M yacht and vessels up to 50M as well. 208V-3 phase, 480V-3 phase power and water available, however, the water in the harbor is very clean and our water makers supplied water as needed. The location is central to Eleuthera, therefore access to the north (Harbour Island) and south (Cape Eleuthera) areas are easily manageable. On site restaurant named 1648 has great food and a spectacular view...sunset over water without obstructions.
Korel, Kershan, and Shaquil a- all amazing and helpful - great stay at the marina dock.
The Resort is great. People all very friendly. This is not a dock for boats under 70 ft. Big swells when South southwest and north northwest winds of any speed. Very difficult to get on dock and actually a little dangerous. Staff is wonderful and resort food and service excellent. Would not recommend overnight stays at this dock. They have all powers and water.
Service is very good not want to be here in the west, wind and food left a little to be desired. All in all a nice stop for a night.
we did not stay there because the wave action was such you could not even tie up if you were dumb enough to try Also we could not raise anyone on the radio using 16,68,and 71
Nice place, food is good. docks are very odd if the left side is full, power needed long extension cord. We were promised a golf cart, never happened. Great in northeast winds. It was blowing mid 20’s and we had no wind at the dock. We will come back. People were very nice.
Great resort with fantastic staff. Dock is a little odd in terms of tying up and make-do in terms of water and power (they run long extensions down the dock) — overall not in great shape. We were on the very end parallel to shore. Deploy fenders carefully and watch the angles of your lines. Even in a SSE wind it was a bit bouncy. But once situated all was fine and resort and staff are top notch.
Unbelievable in every way. Facilities, staff, service and food. All first class. At dinner our server Kelly was amazing, watching us and assuring we had our food courses perfectly timed. The conch Rangoon was delicious as well as the rest of our meal. At the front desk Karrell took such good care of us. The short golf cart ride to the beach revealed a pink sand world class beach with lounges and umbrellas ready for guests. The waterfront pool and hot tub at the resort is stunning. Beautiful and not to be missed.
