Atlantique by Strong's & Grovers

Our last trip of the season is always Atlantique! The staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful. Atlantique Docks and electric/water are well maintained. We will keep coming back.

I stayed at Atlantique several times this season and each time was terrific! The dock crew is so accommodating, friendly and helpful! The bathrooms are kept clean as are the boardwalks. Can't wait for next season!!

We spent Columbus weekend there, very quiet, some rain on Saturday & windy all weekend. Facilities were good and the 2 dock hands that came out to help me tie up were awesome. Sorry that I didn’t remember their names but both took control and made docking so much easier !! We will be back next season !

Over the weekend, we hosted a Great South Bay Power Squadron Picnic at Atlantique. The crew at Atlantique could not have been more accommodating helping us, especially Briana. Between helping us dock and helping us set up for the picnic, the crews help was extremely appreciated. I wish other marinas could be anything like Atlantique's. Thank you. Thursday was a beautiful day, but we had a major storm brewing, which I wasn’t fully aware of how bad it was, the dock staff was extremely helpful and informative, and we decided to leave on Friday morning to avoid the intensifying storm

Our 2023 boating season at the Atlantique Marina was amazing. The management and staff of Strong’s and Grovers are dedicated, professional, and personable making our stays even better. Summer was spent enjoying the days at the beach with friends and family then evenings sharing meals and laughs. We look forward to next season.

America's Boating Club Great South Bay had our picnic at Atlantique this weekend. Brianna and the staff went above and beyond to assist with moving of supplies and tying up our boats. They helped to make the weekend a great success and we can't wait to work together on future events.

We were there for a day trip, 11:30am—4:30 to picnic with our power squadron and didn’t expect we would have to pay the equivalent of an overnight stay. It’s after Labor Day, and as residents I thought we were extended extra courtesies.

while i was enjoying myself with my boater friends, once again we all noticed most of the rules being broken and not enforced. most of the rule breakers were from out of towners. why have a list of rules if there is no enforcement. that is exactly the way the town ran it.

What a great season at Atlantique. The dockhands have become very capable and are always available to help. I have spent a lot of time at Atlantique and can’t remember a day that Sean Ryan was not out and about on the dock, any situations that come up he handles without missing a beat. The staff is always busy working to keep the facility neat, clean and enjoyable. The entire team works hard to ensure you have a positive experience at Atlantique.

Dock crew was amazing, helping us get set up in awful wind conditions. Our assigned slip was at the end near the entrance to the bay. Extremely rough conditions and we were battered heavily all night. We’re only 26’ so next time I’ll be sure to ask for a spot in the cove where it’s much more protected.

Atlantique is a great place to stay on Fire Island. The marina and beaches are well maintained. The dock boys are great and always professional. The beach is beautiful and it is right near Ocean Beach. A great place for shopping and dinner. We will be back.

Once again the deck crew did a great job getting us squared away. They also we very attentive during our stay.

grover and strongs have done an amazing job with this staff i have been to alot of places and no dock hands hold a candle to this crew a special thanks to francis for all his help hunter and his partner also great sorry but i am not great with remembering names kudos to all the staff

Another mid week stay in the books. From the moment we pulled into the marina until the time we left, staff was exceptional! Francis and Connor and Jack were all super helpful on the dock and tied up our boat with ease. The cleanliness of the marina and amenities along with the friendliness of staff make Atlantique a pleasure to frequent!

The dock staff couldn’t be nicer and more available. The “office” staff is super pleasant. At bit expensive for non Islip Town residents, but worth it.

Sean and his crew are the best. They were up and down the docks all day making sure ropes were good, boats were secure and if anything was needed. Facilities were on point and a great location.

First visit for a few years and very impressed the way Strong's manages the marina. The dock was very well staffed with dock hands very willing to help you tie up and cast off. The bathrooms, garbage cans and picnic areas were all clean and well maintained.

Unfortunately, we were at slip 97 . Our boat is only 25 foot with a 8.5 foot beam. That location is probably one of the worst spots to put a small boat like ours. The boat twisted and turned all night. My wife and I still don’t feel well today. Not to mention I was up all night and had to readjust my lines so to stop the boat from banging into the dock. I just had my out drive rebuilt last week . I was very upset when it banged into the dock twice

Dock hands were excellent, when a storm came thru unexpectedly and we were in OB , the dock hands ran down the dock and tightened down the spring lines as they checked the boats

As always, a weekend at atlantique was amazing!! This is our little slice of heaven. A special thank you to Francis, Cody and Conner for their help Friday night and Saturday morning keeping the lines on the Cow in check while Joe had to go back to the mainland. We are very impressed how clean the bathrooms are always kept and how attentive all the staff is at all times.

Incredibly the staff was so professional, courteous, engaging and were well versed in the nuances of tieing up a boat along with water and electric hookup. This crew was 100 times better than when the Town ran the marina. In addition the bathrooms were clean etc. TOTAL HOMERUN and we'll be back!

We stayed there one night on our way back to NYC. Very close to FI inlet so easy access to and from ocean. Very friendly staff, they stayed waiting for us to arrive so we could get a pump out and help us dock. 5ft draft sailboat, no issues if you follow markers. Cool beach bar/restaurant 1-minute walking distance. Definitely recommend marina!

What a beautiful marina! Even better than the marina are the people who work at the dock office and in the docks. The reservations system is so easy and Riley & Brianna in the office go above and beyond to assist you with your reservations. The dock men who assist in tying up your boat or assist with any needs you may have are so professional and kind. Ethan, Hunter and Tom B are super friendly and helpful. Good experience. Would do it again. A few flaws. We needed a 59amp hook up for 1 boat. But it’s months out on reservation. Time to upgrade complete service to the whole marina. A few of us kept tripping breakers. And then bc of the waves from boats in the evening. One of our boats ripped a cleat out of the dock and almost slammed into the next boat. Good thing we were awake that night. And when we told the dock hands. They blew it off. Besides that. We all had a great time and love to go back again. Also would like to call out a dock hand, Francis, he was great. Personable, and was there when needed. And took control of any boat issues at any given time.

Staff is amazing, they go out of their way to keep boaters happy. We couldn't come early in the day and they called to make sure all was ok then had to leave early because of a boat issue and they contacted us again. Atlantique is a beautiful and fun place and the Strong's staff made it even better - Thank you!!

Dock crew super helpful as always!

Everything was great just wished we could have stayed longer. We did 7 nights but the wknds are always sold out so you can’t extend your stay or you have to move out for a day then come back. The weekdays are amazing nobody is there you have the place to yourself. The staff is great always very helpful.

Dock staff were fantastic. Very professional and helpful. Other than the waterless urinals it looks like nothing has been done to the bathrooms in many , many years. They are in severe need of upgrade.

Great Marina and overall experience! From the moment we arrived, 2 dockhands were waiting for us at our slip and did a great job getting us tied up (thanks Ethan for jumping on and getting our bow lines secured). Very clean and well kept Marina, nice bathrooms and hot water showers were a huge plus! Look forward to visiting again soon!

The weather did not cooperate and we were met with pushback about refund when we told them that I will not risk driving my boat in possible thunderstorms. Not happy with the marina and its cancelation policy. Bath and Tennis in West Hampton has a much better policy.

Dock attendants didn't seem to know how to handle my reservation. They had to go to the shack and ask about it. Then the other attendants were somewhat less experienced tying up the boat as I've seen in the past, but all were very friendly, which is most important. Thanks for the stay and we'll see you again soon!!

I know I'm responsible for my lines but other marinas have dock hand assistance all day checking lines. We arrived at low tide, tipped the 2 hands that met us and dealt with stern lines. Came back just before high tide and found my boat hitting bulkhead. Thankfully I dropped 2 fenders. Figured since i saw 5 or 6 hands we were good. Thought I read somewhere you provide line assistance, maybe remove that to lower future expectations. On a side note, the hands walking the docks were extremely friendly when they passed.

Cordial and helpful staff. Special compliments for Callie who always has a cheerful and active demeanor. Price for electric is out of order, prorating to $450 a month for boats which couldn't use half that if they tried.

One of my favorite Fire Island destinations. It's a great facility. Im hoping that it's properly kept up. I moved to the Town of Islip because of Atlantique. It has a sense of community and that should never be forgotten.

We were do in on Friday, Sept. 23rd, staying for 2 nights. The winds were out of the NW at 30 MPH, gusting to 35/40 MPH. We received a phone call from Sean early that afternoon advising us the the marina was like "A washing machine" and that if we wanted to cancel Friday that we would get a full refund. We cancelled and came in on Saturday morning. Ryan and the crew were great, we were able to be within a few slips of the 3 other boats we traveled with and enjoyed the day, including the music at the s Shack. John D.

Beautiful and well maintained but the people are what makes it even more special. The dock hands are always ready to help get you tied up properly. We have a captain take our boat over due to my husbands eye sight, he can no longer drive the boat but we alerted the staff when we arrived and they were so accommodating. We are so happy to be back boating and are excited to go again next year! I highly recommend Atlantique for a wonderful get away.

Although docking here was a bit pricey per night, because we’re not residence, we enjoyed the stay of two nights looking forward to coming back again.

Staff working the docks were great. Lots of uncourteous boaters set up their living rooms on the docks where you have to navigate through each time going to you boat. No recycling pails? Bottles and cans all mixed into regular garbage. Shame All in all weekdays are quiet, no loud music from neighbor party boats good for me and my wife .

Every staff member is awesome! They all go above & beyond. My complaint is that they changed the size of slip #130 and now I no longer fit in it. That slip is located on the East wall and that’s where I like to be. There are so many regulars throughout the marina and everyone has an area that they like to be in. I know it seems silly to complain about ONE slip but it makes a really big difference. We only fit in a couple of slips in that section and there are several other regulars that want to be over there as well. I’m paying double what I paid prior to Strongs/Grover taking over. Actually more than double with the two night minimum this year and to be unhappy about the location of your slip is very frustrating. Really wish you would at least change slip 130 back to it’s original size and possibly make a few others a touch bigger. However, the staff makes this a 5-star marina. We are relatively still new to boating and have visited other areas of Fire Island, we recently discovered Atlantique and are so happy that we did! Our trip was off to rocky start due to boat issues (I am sure everyone can sympathize) but we were in contact with the marina to let them know that we would be a day or two delayed. They were super flexible and were able to work with us. Once we finally arrived, both Brianna and Francis jumped right on our boat helped us tie up and hook up. Without exaggeration these things typically take us a couple of hours. They both could not have been more friendly or helpful. They certainly made us want to go back!!

Would have been a 5 star if the boat behind me wasn’t cranking the music till 11:30 pm and the teenagers weren’t screaming and till midnight.

Atlantique is one of our favorite spots to spend the day on our boat. Beach & dock area is always super clean. Staff is welcoming and so friendly and always so helpful with docking and getting you the right slip.

First time there and it was amazing, the Dock Staff was extremely helpful and the overall vibe was just what we were looking for. Highly highly recommended!!

Start of 2022 season was great so far! Staff accommodated me with a slip that fit my boat and staff was attentive to any assistance we required. Looking forward to more trips to Atlantique!

So many people were worried that when Strongs and Grover took over the everyday operation of the Atlantique Marina that things would not be the same. I will attest to the fact that everything about it is wonderful! Sean Ryan and staff are some of the nicest, most helpful people you will ever cross paths with. We have a special needs son and everyone we have come in contact with that works at the marina does whatever they can to be sure that his stay is safe and comfortable. I can’t say enough about how well run the entire operation is. The Dockwa app makes it so easy to make a reservation and if you have any issues the staff is quick to respond to it. My family and I are looking forward to many wonderful weekends and beautiful sunsets for years to come! Thank you Sean and staff for all that you do!

Atlantique is outstanding. The Dock Masters were great and helpful. Everyone is very friendly, staff and other patrons. The facilities are great with cornhole boards, darts and picnic tables everywhere for everyone to enjoy. Swings playsets and rock climbing for the kids. We even wanted to add on a night and the Dockmaster had it done in seconds. We will be back! And not just once.

Place is just an amazing boating experience, the dock hands were excellent , bar tender and waitress were excellent, food was great , views and location were amazing, couldn’t of been better. Ty

Wi Fi on North wall is spotty. Need to add a repeater on this wall. The docks and sea walls need replacing. Otherwise the same great service.

This is truly a beautiful Marina! It was our first time there and the new management company Strong and Grover is doing excellent job. Lots of staff around, any issues and needs taken care of immediately. The staff tied up our boat when we arrived the lines were perfect! I didn’t have to adjust them once never touching the pole on either side ! Dog friendly with a dog run and lots of dogs around. Very very clean including the bathrooms. The manager and dockmaster Sean is a terrific guy! They are making this into a top class marine. The beach is clean and beautiful- you can even bring your dog! There’s a small restaurant bar at Atlantique and Brian the keeper make you feel real welcome. Atlantique is adjacent to Ocean Beach and Fairview for store and restaurants. Give it a try! It is our new go to place!

Property is very clean, the staff and Dock hands are wonderful! Dog park was a great bonus and there is so much there for young families. It was so refreshing to see so many families and young children Playing and being kids.

I was dissatisfied that the senior discount does not run Monday through Friday like New York State parks honors.

Atlantique is the place to go to for enjoyment! The hospitality is great. The dock boys are phenomenal. So much to do. You will definitely want to make a return visit many times over.

Dockmaster was helpful and knowledgeable. View is beautiful!

We had a great time!! The staff was so great and hospitable. They tied us up in no time. It’s a short walk to the beach and sunset views are amazing! Our dog Daisy had a wonderful time too! We would definitely come again!!

Really like Atlantique. Has become one of our favorite fire island destinations. Sean and his team do a great job.

The marina is beautiful and clean again. We hadn’t been there in a few years due to the decline of the marina but it appears Atlantique is back!! Employees are extremely obliging, polite and eager to please. As always, the beach was just beautiful!!

The dock hands were extremely helpful especially during the high winds we experienced when we arrived. The bathroom facilities were easily accessible and very clean. The walk to the beach was 8 minutes and the “snack shack” was ultra convenient too just off the beach. It was our first overnight for my family of 5 and we can’t wait to go again!

Best Marina ever They meet you as you pull in and help tie up! The deck hands also help with lines when your leaving. They even taught me a new boat line know that I call the Atlantique Braid ! The marina is spotless and bathrooms always have hot water . Fun place to stay with live bands every weekend! The bathrooms are clean and always stocked . The showers are clean and provide warm water ! They answer the phone just great overall experience!

I had my first trip out this weekend to Atlantique since Strong's took over.... Brianna and Sean were pleasure to deal with for reservations, Francis and his partner helped my tie my boat up (that's a first at Atlantique!!!) and the marina looks great! Nice job to the team and looking forward to coming out more this summer!

Considering my boat was boarded by staff to remove an existing rope and leave my boat with no rope securing the port stern. Not good. Phone call would have been nice so I could come replace the rope, not find my boat unsecured.

Was our first time at Atlantique, it was so nice bar was open beach is nice and clean and the deck hands were awesome.. They met us at our slip as we pulled in they got on my boat and tied up everything for us which can be a hassle with two little kids on the boat. Best ten bucks spend!!

Great stay! Very clean! Staff is awesome! Great for kids and adults! The new upgrades to the marina and the way things are run is so nice.

LOUD!! I understand that it is still considered “off season” but to charge boaters full price to listen to the construction being done on the ferry dock is wrong. $67.49 to sit on my boat and listen to saws and pile drivers. To be honest, the guy in the dock office could be a little more pleasant. Your handing out TOI resident stickers that I paid for. Get rid of the attitude - your at the beach

Dock Crew and office staff are great!!! Shane is awesome. Even though they were fully booked, he was able to put us close to our friends.

The staff at the dock were right there to help as soon as I called in on the radio. They tied up my boat, The price was fantastic!! Very friendly..Clean Marina!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I arrived on Saturday 9/11/21 I told the dock master I was only staying for the day , when I received my receipt I saw I was charged for 2 Days , Can you please refund my account. this is the second time this has happened thank you.

As a marina owner all I can say it is great to see how well they are running Atlantique, Sean (not sure of how he spells it) and company did a fantastic job from tying us up with a 25 knot wind out of the North west to making sure all our needs including making sure all our friends were docked closely were taken care of. Had a problem with the electrical breaker in SLIP 75. Got good assistance from the staff to resolve the problem. Special thanks to the young lady in charge ( i forgot her name) but she went above and beyond to resolve the matter and apologized for our troubles. She gets a 5 star rating from me. Thank you.

Always a nice place, and some improvement by the new management. Dock hands are great! One issue - very expensive ($4 a foot) for a weekday out of town res.

The dock hands were awesome - they know what they are doing especially with 25 mph winds. The marina is clean, friendly right on the GSB with its own beach. Picnic tables behind each boat, bring your own BBQ (they do not provide them any more due to COVID). Bathrooms are clean. Walking distance to the beach (ocean side). The have a small restaurant/bar/snack bar (between the marina and the beach) - the service was great live music. Approximately 2 mile walk to Ocean Beach - there are water taxis to take you to all parts of Fire Island.

On top of their game, always accommodating

I called the marina on VHF upon arrival and they gave me a slip assignment. I asked where the slip was located and no response. Most of the slip numbers on the docks were unreadable. I was finally able to get the attention of marina staff tieing up another boat. They directed me to a slip. I told them I wanted to be in the basin and they said nothing was available. After going to the slip I had been directed to the staff said there was a mistake and that my slip was in the basin. The marina staff did a great job tying my boat. They say the vhf radio goes out regularly.

End of July 2021 - 5 stars -great day and great stay.....the dock hands were terrific!....they not only helped us tie up the lines, they also helped us unload all the beach gear and stuff that goes along with my son's 7 month old. Big improvement over past years! 8/25/21 - still had a great time for the day. everything clean and organized. The only complaint was the lack of dock help with tying the boat up and transferring beach supplies off boat. Could've used it this time because the trip was with 3 older people, like myself. I guess the kids went off to school, other wise it would be 5 stars. Rick

Here I am a week out and on the wait-list as a town resident. How many slips are taken by non-residents blocking me from using my town marina that I am paying for in my town taxes as part of the benefit of living in Islip town. Completely unacceptable what has happened to our town marina.
