We were sailing from Newport to the Vinyard and had to pick up a mooring due to a special marine weather Forecast of 50 knot winds! We were fortunate to find a few empty ones in the mooring field. Good thing we did! Even though it was after 5pm the dock master confirmed a mooring for us quickly!
Road out the storm and slept easy.
