Marina store hours: CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR THE SEASON
2024: For the most part I am enjoying the 2024 season. I am a little irritated that I have been billed in full for the 2025 season before the 2024 season is over. I have paid in full, but I wonder if it is really necessary to pay so far in advance when a deposit would be plenty enough to confirm intent for the coming season. Also, there is still no use of the towmotor to launch and retrieve sailboats, but it is being used to move sailboats around the yard. The new cell phone app. to get into the yard is not ideal. My cell phone is too old to run the app. and I am not spending thousands on a new phone to support some gee-wiz technology I don't want. Is there a swipe-card back-up plan? Those are my gripes. On the other side, it is a nice facility with friendly help and helpful friends. Recovering from my 2023 review, there has been some good live music making for some enjoyable Friday evenings. The docks are nicely protected in an elbow of the Rocky River, relatively safe from Lake Erie storms. It is 5-10 minute motor out to the lake.To the West is a 100' cliff that shuts-off the wind. I typically hoist my sails at the dock, and simply kill the engine when I get far enough out for the wind to fill the sails. 2023: Pre-COVID there were was live music on Friday nights and a much more engaging atmosphere. It is good that the restaurant has re-opened, but I would like to see a return to pre-COVID ways. Many other places are back to normal, if slightly short-staffed. Marina staff have personally been very good to me, but they seem hesitant to deal with sailboats. Hopefully the future holds a new lift truck. Let's see what Santa brings.
Would be nice to have carts for the boaters to bring to the dock. Quite a long walk without carts.
Need after-hours restrooms. Also, showers during normal hours.
kept boat in boat yard. In and out was very easy
Clean and safe facility, convenient and very close to home. Very helpful and courteous staff.
I appreciate Mike and his team assisting me with my dock storage needs for the past and upcoming Fall 2024. Very responsive.
Mike and his crew have always been extremely helpful and cooperative. Very happy. Mike runs a tight ship
its not worth the almost 1700 dollars and now its almost 1900
Absolutely the most expensive rack in our market, with the lowest level of service I have ever received in any marina I have ever used in any state (I have used several). Terrible hours of operation, making it virtually impossible to use your boat in the evening after work. My boat was found full of water twice because those knuckleheads did not pull plugs before storing. Totally unacceptable. I will never return to this marina.
Staff always friendly and helpful. Season too short unfortunately.
always clean, staff always helpful and courteous, great summer marina
I sold my boat before the season started and they would not refund my money. Not right!
Storage is fantastic. Boat launch is another story. The kayakers make that a confusing mess down there. They are launching all over the place, loading and unloading their kayaks in ALL the launch lanes, riding up the middle of the river, ect
Overall communications about services & prices is NOT good.
