Marina Cap Cana

SCAMMERS. Avoid the Marina CAP CANA office with the Golf Cart rental outside are a Seriously SCAM operators with the rudest management. We rented a golf cart ..Juan who works there took us to ATM to pay in Cash. No paperwork was required. This should have been a Red Flags already. The Golf cart broke down after 2 miles. Obviously not charged or faulty dead battery which needs to be replaced. They blamed us for everything and were beyond rude We were told the cart was fully charged. This means it should go circca 30 KM as was confirmed to us. Out condo is beside their office in the Marina like half a mile. We drove 2 miles to the marina restaurants for dinner and by the time we got there it wasnt working. I had to ask the wo kids to get off and walk behind the cart in the dark. We tried to charge it in the Marina and the charger wire provided was the length of my arm and too short. We should have been given an extension cable. We sent an urgent email to them to marina office and no one has even responded to that yet nearly 24 hours later. A man in a shop kindly gave us his own extension and we plugged it in for over 5 hours. We couldn't charge it last night as we had no charger wire. Again this cart was supposed to be fully charged and didn't last 3km.. We brought it back to them and they blamed us and they gave extension today from their office. We plugged it in again for three hours [8 hrs total] and drove towards Juanillo beach. It broke down again and we had to roll it into Dreams resort to get it off the road. . DREAMS would only let us use their electric charger if we paid for a day pass at 450 USD which we had no choice but to pay. This was 2pm! We asked the marina office hem to bring us another golf cart and of course they wouldn't and it was all our fault as it was perfect leaving there office. Nonsense I asked for a refund and they wouldn't and again said we should have brought it back. Although we did today and they didnt even offer to change it or apologise! They offered one day refund if we brought it back today although it was dead and needed charging. The owner contacted me. I explained everything and he was beyond rude. AGAIN HE took zero responsibility for this at all. They give zero refunds. He was beyond rude. Complete and utter nightmare! We now are getting Ubers tonight. They are now trying to threaten us that they will report to the police ! Great marina. Excellent facilities and first class staff. Will definitely come back. Lighted boat parade was an added bonus!
