Report Review

Updated 8/17/2021 Most of my comments from my previous stay still apply. Tenants Harbor is a nice little town and we enjoyed walking around for the afternoon. This was another short, one-night stop. At least 3 dock attendants helped us tie up. They were skilled and attentive. The only drawback I found with this stay is that the boatyard has some shore power limitations. It has one 50-amp connection and one 30-amp connection. We were the second boat to request 50-amp service for the same night. Thus I was forced to “time-share” the single 30-amp connection between my inverter/charger circuits and my heavier AC loads. It worked out OK but would have been more convenient if I hadn’t had to switch my loads to share a single source between my two 30-amp cords. To be fair, the dockmaster called me before confirming my reservation to let me know this would be the situation, but I encourage the yard to upgrade their shore power facilities. Original 2019 Review: This was a short, one night stop, but we were very comfortable. The dockmaster was on the pier when we arrived to help tie us up. He had given us good directions to his pier and our assigned location. Shore power is provided via extension cords from a box on the fuel dock. Both 30 and 50 amp shore power is available. There’s a single head with a shower in the customer lounge up the hill from the docks. The head and shower were clean and in good condition. WiFi at the dock was outstanding, among the best we’d seen during our trip up the coast. We didn’t sample food ashore but there appear to be several restaurants serving dinner and a couple just serving breakfast and lunch. There’s also a small general store that we didn’t have time to visit.
