The marina is conveniently located amidst bustling Bowen’s Wharf with an array of shore side activities, tours, Pilot House, galleries, locally-owned shops, bars and world-class restaurants. We are staffed with a professional team making your docking experience simple and safe and boast amenities such as tie along floating docks, a private deck area with grill, updated WiFi system and clean head with shower. This marina is in the absolute best location to see and do everything Newport has to offer. The staff are helpful and accommodating. However the outdoor music venue at the end of the pier plays very loudly until very late. Additionally, there is no after hours security and we had some neighbors on the dock who partied loudly until 3am. We had a great weekend but got very little sleep.We would definitely get a mooring next time despite the convenience.

Completely enjoyed our say in the middle of town-- easy walk to restaurants, parks, and music on the wharf. Staff was professional and attentive. Boats are tightly packed together, but much care to make sure boats are safe and secure.
Great location with very friendly and helpful staff. We were on the dock which was really nice. Do be aware that this is right next to The Landing restaurant and bar which has fairly loud live music until midnight on weekends. We enjoyed it but if you are looking for a quiet weekend evening this is not the place :)

We have stayed at Bowens a number of times. The staff is great, location is great. New outdoor bar next to Marina that plays very loud music until 1 in the morning

Very helpful guy with docking and resources of the area. Glad for a very clean shower with hot water and nice pressure. Our dog was also well treated also. Piper was happy with the dog friendly environment.

This is a professionally and great marina to stay at . They are accommodating and helpful and should be on you list of marinas in Newport to stay. They are located right in the center of all the action at Bowens and Banister Warf. Electric is great and docs stable.

Best place to stay great location and Mark was absolutley awesome. We had an issue with our generator that sucked up seaweed and had shut down. Mark helped us and actually got on the boat and spent well over an hour to fix the problem and made sure we were all set. I give the place a 10 out of 10, could not find a better place or more helpful staff. Thank you Mark for helping us out and making sure our stay was awesome. Thank you again. David and Jody "JAX"
We are always happy to dock at Bowens wharf. Mark is very nice and attentive. Always there to help out with any needs. Marina is centrally located.
Marina was small but in the middle of town. Docks, service, Wi-Fi etc were all great.

Mark, the dock master, is amazing. So helpful. \n\nIt the midst of a packed Newport holiday weekend, Bowel’s Wharf was a peaceful, quiet spot yet not even a block from the center of Newport’s fun shopping, restaurants, etc. We will go back. It is the best place we have docked in Newport.
Spent 3 days at this wonderful marina. The service was outstanding and Mark was very professional and accommodating. If we return from Florida we would book again.
We love this place. Been to Newport about 20 times and we have settled here as our favorite. Cant beat the location, facility is very clean and staff is competent and friendly.

Topher and his crew were fantastic, great customer service, they know how to assist when tying up and they are on the premises till 8 every night. Docks are in great shape a little tight when the tour boats come in and out but otherwise fantastic! Will be back! Tour boat captains btw are professionals with boat handling skills, cudos
This is an excellent marina with great service and very competent employees. I would have given them 5 stars were it not for the noise from the band next door at "The Landing". They often played until 11:00 pm.

Excellent dock service by Tofur and his crew. Great location in the middle of the Wharf. Music and party noise until around 11-12 midnight next to boat. Other than that. Great stay.

Great place! Haven't handled a boat in a decade and wanting to go somewhere with the family for our anniversary on our new to us boat we chose Bowens for being located right with everything and knowing they have excellent dock hands (stayed over a decade ago). We docked around multi million dollar yachts with great support from the crew. They took great care of us in and out of the marina and I was VERY happy with that. Only downfall would be the wifi was poor at best and so was the cell service, hopefully they improve the wifi a bit. The kids would have loved to be able to watch YouTube. Thanks everyone and I will be back, hopefully with a little more time behind the helm.
Great place to stay in Newport! Centrally located with many restaurants just off the dock to choose from! Topher and Molly were awesome to assist with docking and setting us up with power and water and anything else we needed. The only “ding” I would give was their guest internet repeater has been down and we had to rely on cell service which is weak. Overall, we will definitely return to Bowen’s Wharf!

Absolutely in the center of the action. Marina staff very friendly and helpful. Very small. Lots of day trip boats in and out on weekends . (We were moored next to two cruise boats.). A little loud - lots of neighboring bars. Positives outweigh these negatives. Strong recommend.
Traveling from Brick NJ to New Port last Labor Day weekend , aboard the “Light Hearted” a 65’ Galeon Fly , we were lucky to secure a slip at Bowen’s Wharf. From the Dockwa reservation process to our arrival things couldn’t have been better. The dock crew at our arrival couldn’t be more accommodating, allowing us to nose in instead of traditional backing in allowing us a spectacular view of Newport Harbor. Originally booked for only 2 days , we immediately wanted to extend our visit but, Due to the holiday all slips were reserved and we politely told it would be close to impossible, but they would try to accommodate us. The talented staff at Bowen’s Wharf somehow did the impossible and found us a spot for 2 additional days. I can’t say enough good things about this perfectly located Marina. Close to restaurants stores and all the action New Port is know for. We’ll definitely be visiting again. Dan Balsamo & Marc Kushner
We had the best stay of our summer the week of Oct 4th at Bowen's Wharf Marina. The staff was extremely helpful with reservation confirmation calls, wait list status, early check in, and arrival help. We had the best spot in all of Newport and are looking forward to a return next season! Well done Bowen's Wharf for hiring the perfect marina staff!

Excellent service at the heart of Newport. We were very pleased to dock our humble 40-foot charter sailboat in this charming marina that attracts super yachts and America's cup winner classical yachts alike. Very well situated in historical Newport.
The team here is great, especially Topher. He gave us guidance pre-arrival, met us to help tie up, and had great recommendations for some needed maintenance. The Marina itself is in the perfect location, in the heart of the restaurant and shopping scene, close to everything you want to do in Newport. GREAT stop!!

Bowen’s wharf never disappoints. Always a favorite stop. Topher waited for us to arrive at 5:30pm to guide us into the slip and grab our lines. Great attitude and very welcoming. We will back next season on the return trip.

Kerrie was awesome...everything from planning our club's trip to helping me with the lines. Facilities were great, location outstanding, power and water solid. Only feedback is the dockhand helping the Tiara behind me dock misjudged the space required and I lost my stern flag and had my teak scratch...nothing I can't fix and I know the hand was only trying to help a customer that really wanted to get into that spot early. So A for customer focus and room to improve with math.
Had a wonderful time at Bowen’s Wharf this week. Jalen, Nate and Kerrie took such good care of us, from the moment we approached the dock until we left. We loved the nearby pool, the marina is in the middle of a ton of fun things to do and great restaurants, and we really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back!

Staff was great and location was as well, even if we were right outside the outdoor music. WiFi was not existent and although they were aware of problem, nothing was done for the weekend to address fixing it.

Very nice staff, very helpful. Nonetheless, the electric 30 amp kept tripping off under a light load. The pump-out was brand new and worked very well and quickly. Fantastic location.

Great weekend at Bowen's . Made the reservation through Dockwa and they had the space ready for us upon arrival. Cannot beat the central location. It's right next to the Landing, but they close up by 12:30 AM or so. Dockhands all very helpful. Will return.
Stayed here for nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Great location near restaurants and shops. Marina is also located across the street from Queen Anne Park which was very convienent for walking our two dogs. Dock staff friendly and facilities in great condidtion.
