Single Mooring line was barnacle encrusted. In the few minutes in heavy winds before I could set up a mooring bridle the paint where the barnacle encrusted mooring line touched my boat was seriously scratched and multiple small patches (1/4 inch) of paint removed. Cut my hands. Have never had this experience at commercial or reciprocal club moorings in 25 years of sailing. Have visited Sag Harbor Launch and Moorings several times before and did not have this problem.
