Sag Harbor is a location second to none. Only a 30 mile ride from Block Island and 20 miles from New London, boaters can easily access destinations in Long Island and Block Island sounds.
There is no shortage of things to do while visiting Sag Harbor. Check out our beautiful beaches, grab a bite downtown, or stop in at The Sag Harbor Whaling and Historical Museum. Come experience why Sag Harbor is one of the most desirable boating destinations in the northeast.
We offer transient mooring reservations inside the break wall for boats up to 50ft and in the Outer mooring field for boats 50 to 125ft in length. Additionally there are moorings available on a first come first serve basis. Please contact the Sag Harbor Launch on channel 73 when entering the harbor.
Ken is the best! Always available Does a great job with the launch
Very convenient mooring, inside breakwater.
Always Great - professional, courteous And accommodating. Thank you.
Mooring was excellent - great restaurant Lulu. Only down side was the unexpected cost of the launch - although service was good.
Great destination. Comfortable mooring field. Great launch service, but may slow during busy summer weekends.
Moorings are heavy to grab but everything else was great. Sag Harbor is a wonderful place to visit.
Beautiful view. Moorings are nice too
Safe and secure , nice people
A great place to stay. While being near the channel during made it a bit bumpy, the parade of boats was remarkable.
Ken Deeg is always available and professional.
Launch in the past was included in th mooring fee now $5 a trip.
Was guided to to the assigned mooring. Beautiful historic village,
Very professional, ‘no-frills’ mooring and launch service.
Stayed outside breakwater and mooring field was generous in terms of swing room. Easy launch ride in. Enjoyed the stay. Will be back again.
Always enjoy staying on a mooring in Sag. Excellent, friendly service.
Sag Hbr. is a place to relax and watch how the other half lives. Certainly there are everyday folks, but the yachts in the harbor, at the piers, and outside the breakwater are so varied, and interesting. Maybe even over the top! But never do you not see a breathtaking classic yacht. The mooring was fine had two hawsers to keep the boat into the wind., and an easy pickup. Having a smaller boat we always get a spot inside the breakwater, a good place in any direction or velocity of wind. On shore the walking is great. The museums, churches, even the beautiful library are just a pleasure to visit. The town does a great job of keeping the streets clean, and there are plenty of sidewalk benches to sit down while my wife drops into a few shops. The traffic flow in the center of town is entertaining to watch. I am confused between what appears to be the Sag Harbor Launch, Mooring, and Marine Services, and what I also think are moorings and docks provided by the Harbor Master. Anyway, I'll figure it out someday. We always make Sag a destination each season.
There are no shortage of places you can go, and people you can deal with when it comes to your boat. There is however a great deficit of good, reliable, business worthy people out there. The Sag Harbor Launch service is top notch across the board. I would invite you to attempt to find better, because I know you will not. My family and I have been entrusting our boats to Ken for over a decade. Nothing but the best here.
