Hickory Creek Marina

I'm not really sure who owns this business. They're illegally operating on federal, army Corp of engineer land. The folks there are unbelievably rude. For a birthday event, my family decided to check out hickory creek and found a space closer to the water. Immediately, a lady came out of the office yelling at my family members to leave. We were polite and offered to pack up and leave. While we were doing so, the lady continued to harrass and berate us up to the point we were exiting the parking lot. At the point of us putting our final items in our vehicles, I can only assume what is her husband, stepped out of the building and began cursing us, calling us stupid fucking idiots. He even went so far as to scream about how I was a fat white fuck in spanish. I assume he thought I was Hispanic or something. Either way, disgusting people, behavior and an even grosser landing. Unless you like crossing busted bottles, heaps of scrap metal they've thrown all over the water and dealing with rude rednecks, this place is on the top 10 must avoid places to visit in arkansas. I will not be going back. I will be getting in contact with the Corp of engineers to find out if they even have a right to be there because the Corp of engineers website states: "Engaging in commercial business on US Army Corps of Engineers recreation areas is prohibited."
