Very good marina and nice clean rooms. Always very accommodating
So far so good. Nice to have all the amenities. Restaurant, hardware showers. Miss Safari Long.
Nice Marina and great staff. Easy to get in and all the necessary amenities we needed. Will visit again!
Hesitant to say how great this place is because I kind of want to keep it a secret.
Amazing staff! Great facilities and location. Cindy and Anthony made our stay flawless.
Very clean, looks like new. Good food in 2 restaurants and Habanos is tasty and easy on the wallet. The rooms are very clean and lots of room for a family and or 2 couples. The 2 exterior doors, one to the beds and one to kitchen and living makes it private. The view is priceless.
We love to spend part of our winters on our boat, and being able to stay in Caloosa Cove Marina while snow is blowing in IL has been wonderful. The marina is clean, and updated, the employees are helpful and friendly, and the amenities of showers and use of the swimming pool are nice. The fishermen who are in the marina are friendly too. We stayed here a couple years ago and really enjoyed it so our return in 2024 was great. The new additions of a laundry facility and the Oceanside Safari were just wonderful. Safari had a great manager-Tony- and his staff was great too. Loved their food and friendliness, and we didn’t miss their happy hours. Can’t say enough good things about the marina and it’s environment. Cindy was friendly and knowledgeable. She was quick with a smile and willing to offer help or suggestions. Anthony was out and about checking lines each day. Bill always stopped to talk to us in the marina. Again- we felt safe and comfortable. Never worried about leaving our boat for a few days knowing they would keep an eye on it. Leaving Caloosa Cove in March was hard. We had a great time and made some wonderful friends, but we will be back next year. Same marina! Thanks Caloosa Cove! See you in 2025.
Staff is amazing and very helpful. We will be back for sure!
We had a terrific experience here. A person met us at the dock to welcome us in and assist with the lines. Shortly thereafter Cindy, the manager, introduced herself. We were steps from the beach and chairs. There are two restaurants on the grounds. Oceanside had very good food.
Beautiful location! Friendly and helpful staff. Facilities are clean. It was a true paradise! We'll come back!
The booking and check in was easy. Brian the dockmaster was very helpful.
Excellent place to be everything you need is right there. Friendly people and easy access to boat gas store and fuel!!!
Called the day before arrival date of 7/12/23. Staff were very accommodating, offered me slip options, secured my reservation and everything went smoothly. Quiet marina, easy access to restaurants, clean facilities, and dockside assistance if required. Will be back gladly.
Great facilities but no guarantee on your docking spot. Booked a spot for four nights. Night two, someone was in our spot so we had to find another. Dock master didn’t have an answer. Third night, went out for a night cruise and someone took our spot. Makes it frustrating and stressful.
Dock hands were awesome !they make you feel like home .Store clerks very helpful.Very clean and friendly.1-10it was a 12!
Friendly marina with a lot of amenities including a store, fuel dock, great restaurant and a pool!
Just want to say stayed here for a week, and absolutely enjoyed every moment. Stayed here years ago before it got hit by hurricane now the place is even better! Place was immaculate, Hunter was a joy to work with very professional and Pleasant to talk to. . Everybody from the bait store and the customers at the marina were all very pleasant to hang out with. We will definitely be back soon!
Everything was perfect, Michael the dockmaster has always been very professional and accommodating each time we have been there.
Great weekend great service clean amenities state of the art cleaning stations super fair gas prices. Hidden gem. Thank u!! We will be back next year.
We will be back!! Place is super clean, great restaurant service and the marina is clean and great area to clean fish.
Docks are too high for smaller boats. No cleats on the posts. I emailed the Marina before arrival and they never bothered to reply back. When I arrived they asked to use an outside app to pay for the dock fee. I offered to pay with credit card. Using the app the daily rate was higher than they advertise on their web site. No coffee available anywhere in the marina nor in the connected hotel. When I asked I was asked to drive 7 miles to get coffee!
I haven’t been there yet but for some unknown reason you charged me $49 when I already prepaid over a thousand. Seems a little premature to send me a csat
Fixed docks, instead of floating, dockmaster was great, store staff not so much
Stayed at the marina for two months and am very pleased with the place. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Very much a can do attitude. Channel is very well marked. The marina is tied into the resort so you have the beach and restaurants right there. The Safari restaurant just reopened and is very good, in addition to Habanos. Love the ocean side access and still being protected in the harbor. There is also a laundry room at the marine store. Islamorada has a free ridesharing service (called Freebee) that will pick you up and take you anywhere in town. Great base for fishing and snorkeling.
Bill and his team, Tommy and Mark are great! Best customer service! Facilities are exceptional! Hunter, the regional manager runs a tight ship!
Nice People, No amenities, Channel is shallower than reported. I saw 2.5 at low. Poor location.
Docks are in great conditions Showers were in great condition both toilet and shower with hot water with no problem. Shore power and fresh water also easily accessible and in great conditions. Only two things I would have liked to have that I didn’t. the first is more restricted access for non guess the Marina Is easily accessible by anyone my first night I had people fishing right behind my dock it prevented me from sitting out with my wife for a private conversation also could be a safety issue. 2- I never met anyone from the facility I got there luckily there was a fisherman getting back from chartering his boat so figure he knows everyone he told me where to park and also said he was gonna let the dock master know I was there. The next day came and no one came to say hi. It kind of didn’t matter I did my own thing but could have been an issue if shore power and water were restricted or if that gentleman wouldn’t have been nice enough to give the shower/restroom access combination. Now would I stay again definitely yes. 👌🏽🛥💨
Great marina overall, but depth can become an issue is you draw more than 4ft. Great dock staff, location and amenities.
Everyone at the marina was great and more than helpful. Definitely would keep my boat there again!
We never stayed there. Du to bad weather we never put our boat in the water. I sent 2 emails to Bill the dock master telling him our situation and reason for not using their dock and I never got a reply, that was Monday and today is Friday and still never heard anything.
Bill is a friendly and helpful dock master. Very good Cuban restaurant on the property. Marina is clean and quiet, with a well protected yacht basin.
Friendly Easy Great Cuban food Well stocked store
We stayed at Caloosa Cove for 4.5 months. The marina offers a convenience store and fuel. The marina is clean and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The access to a restaurant, pool, and a beach were extra perks. Above all- the staff was great. Hunter, Bill, and Tommy answered all our questions and were very helpful. We appreciate all their help and were at ease knowing they were keeping a watchful eye on our boat when we were gone. Thanks!
We’ve stayed here a few times and every time we love it. The staff are very friendly and eager to help in any way. The other boat owners are just as helpful and friendly as well! We are considering keeping our boat there during the winter months. We will stay here every time we are in the area or passing through!
Staff was wonderful! Docks are to high and boarding was a safety issue. Have no pump out and every other marina around the area the pump outs were out of order. We paid $55 to get a pump out at Caloosa Cove Marina. No laundry at the marina. Not protect from west winds. Nothing close to this marina except a good Cuba Restaurant! Most expensive moorage we paid since starting the Great Loop in Saint Joseph MI. Again, the staff was wonderful.
Rate went up 40% with less than 1 month notice Got our boat out as fast as possible
Caloosa Cove did not respond to reservation request from Dockwa. Very disappointing....
Its hard to find good people in this day and age, people make a business and these guys all make it happen, from the manager to dock master to the front desk and store they are real and have worked hard to make this simply the most perfect and effective service, and its so clean and well managed, its not a secret but these guys have it covered, thank you for the perfect service.
We loved our stay! Everyone was so professional and friendly. We are already planning our next trip.
Always an amazing time - facilities and staff are awesome!!! The upgrades to the place are incredible and we can’t wait for our trip next year 😎
CALOOSA Cove Marina - we stay there every year! Clean facilities, nice slips, friendly staff. Can’t wait to go back again next year!
Great marina everything you need is on site. No ramp is the only draw back.
Thank for a great two weeks. The staff at the marina were amazing and extremely helpful.
They have a geat staff that are very helpful and accommodating. A clean marina that is easy to navigate and the marina store has just about everything you need.
Very friendly staff, clean facilities. Islamorada has Freebee, so they will pick you up for free and take you anywhere on island.
Staff and premises was nice with easy access to the channel. Only disappointment was them not lifting our boat off the trailer as they have done in previous years. We had to find a boat ramp to launch several miles away.
Came in for overnight on a 40ft catamaran. Excellent place to stop. Service is first rate. Richard and Bill couldn’t have been more helpful. Great restaurant on premises as well. Highly recommend.
Thanks to Bill & Rich for answering all of our questions while booking and help at the dock! They were great and so was the stay. As we were told by them, it's recommended that you arrive and leave at a higher tide if your draft is over 4ft. :) Looking forward to next year!
We rented a house on Iroquois for the month of March and brought along our boat - unfortunately, the state began dredging our canal and we had to find another option quickly. Caloosa Cove was great - they were able fit us into their schedule for a slip for the whole month. Everyone there was really nice and helpful!
They have done a great job with the renovated marina, all the docks are in great shape and the marina store has all that you need! All the staff was great to work with for the week, we will be back soon!
Richard the dock master was great. Fuel prices (diesel) were very good. Docks are not floating docks but require you to tie stern to. Habana restaurant onsite is very good. Restrooms and showers are basic at best. Pictures make it look like the pool and adjacent amenities are a part but they are off limits to the boaters.
Chris the Manager was great, he helped us from when we arrived to when we left.
Clean marina. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Nice little beach and walking area.
Our 50 foot boat draws 3.5 feet and our readings got down to 3. This would be a great spot for a smaller boat. New pedestals where great. Lots of manatees were cool too.
The marina may be good for small center consoles but if you're got a big boat, consider our experience. 1. Canal is not 4-5' deep as claimed, hit 2.9' close to the fuel dock. Granted it was low tide. 2. The fuel crew handed me diesel pump when I asked for gasoline. Luckily, I caught the mistake after dispensing only 2 gallons into our gasoline tanks. 3. Shore power kept tripping GFCI, so didn't have shore power for the stay. Next time, I'll just stay on the hook and save $$.
Great Southern Hospitality from Greg and Chris. Very convenient Marina for stop over to and from Key West.
Slips were spacious and fully equipped. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Location was wonderful! We will definitely be back!
Friendly staff, nice facility - well stocked store. Loved our stay here. Will certainly be back!
We have been here two months now and absolutely love the people and location! With everything within walking distance such as the Marine Hardware, Habanos Restaurant, Bait and Tackle shop, Safari Bar, and Resort with pool, and a beach with barbecue and chairs. All of this within 100 yards from our boat.
