Update: Dani the Marina manager contacted me to let me know that the billing problem was a bug in the Dockwa system and that my rate should have been protected and promptly issued a refund. The staff at the marina was uninformed about what was actually happening and did give me erroneous information which did cause a lot of back and forth which the manager has pledged to resolve. Dani was very responsive and courteous and I'm glad we were able resolve this issue. Upgrading to three stars. It would be 5 stars if this had not happened. Nice facility with great docks and bathrooms. Close to restaurants and a marine store. Original review: We booked a 2 night stay here and received a confirmation on the price for the two nights. Our plans changed and I messaged the marina asking to delay our arrival by one day. The marina messaged back that would be no problem but never told me my cost per foot would be going up for BOTH nights. So I ended up with an extra $76 charged to my credit card. Communication with the Marina for a refund has resulted in a run around and no refund. While I did get an email from Dockwa AFTER I made the change, I had no recourse at that point. I could not have cancelled and gone somewhere else due to safe harbor 3 day cancellation policy. So boaters, I guess it's on us all to specifically ASK if making a change increases the price. In all my 20 years of boating I've never encountered this. Having said that the Marina is nice and the dock hands were great.
