We just got a new (to us) boat, a 1982 O’Day 25, and renovated it at Crystal Cove Marina this Spring. We now have been on a mooring here and we absolutely love it. It’s a short walk from home, and they offer a lot of services. We are having our best season either going sailing, swimming off the mooring, and staying overnight. The lights from the Elks Club are bright at night, but a fair compromise being in harbor, and easy to block out in the cabin. With so much in walking distance I e got to pinch myself. Great food, ice cream shop, and small market. Out on the water today my wife said, why didn’t we do this sooner? We plan on doing this every season now. The Harbor Islands are our new back yard.
