BOAT TRAILER PARKING:
No overnight trailer parking is allowed in the marina or parking lots. Please make other arrangements for your trailer if needed.
GENERAL MARINA INFORMATION:
The Falmouth Town Marina is conveniently located within a well-protected harbor for the area's most economically friendly marina experience. The marina is located @ 180 Scranton Avenue in historic downtown Falmouth, birthplace of "America the Beautiful" author Katherine Lee Bates. We are located less than 5 miles from Martha's Vineyard and only 3 miles from Woods Hole. The marina is walking distance from main street, beaches, groceries stores, shops and many fine restaurants. The marina consists of (7) floating finger piers and 108 total berths. The primary transient float is "D", directly in front of the marina building. We also rent out vacant seasonal slips as they become available. Larger vessels and overflow dockage is also provided at the east side of the mouth of the harbor (Tide's Bulkhead/flat wall tie up) and northern end of the harbor (Davis Bulkhead/flat wall tie up & Davis Floats). During July and August, the marina is staffed from 8am to 8pm. The marina monitors VHF channels 16 & 9 and our working frequency is channel 12. Please contact the staff via radio or cell phone if you need any assistance during docking for arrivals or departures. The marina building has yachtsmen only bathrooms and showers. A key card is required to access that part of the building and available at the marina office. (Refundable cash key deposit required) Vehicle overnight parking is allowed in the marina by permit only during your stay. Permits are available at the office during check in. Public restrooms are also available on site. Low Data unsecured WiFi is limited to the main marina only in front of the marina building. (No WIFI at Robbins Road, Davis Bulkhead or the Tides Bulkhead)
Reservations in July and August that include a Friday or Saturday night require a minimum stay of two nights unless the slip is only available for one night.
SPECIAL IMPORTANT NOTES - PLEASE REVIEW BEFORE BOOKING:
TIDE'S BULKHEAD:
The Tide's Bulkhead (flat wall tie up with discounted rate) is used for vessels over 90ft, vessels with beams over 20ft and overflow from the main marina. (Discount fee of 25% applies in July and August) If you DO NOT wish to be placed on the bulkhead when our slips are sold out, please specify that in your comments. (IE no bulkhead-slip only) The Tides Bulkhead is approximately 2200' from the main marina, on the other (east) side of the harbor adjacent to the Tide's Motel @ 267 Clinton Ave. It is located at the entrance to the harbor so lots of boat traffic should be expected. It also abuts a busy motel and beach parking lot so vehicle traffic in the summer is heavy there. (Has power & water but no WIFI or restrooms) The Tide's Bulkhead at times may have inclement weather exposure due to the wave action that can take place at the mouth of the harbor due in part to the prevailing southwest winds in the summer. If you do not want a flat wall to tie up be sure to state "Slip Only" in your reservation comments.
DAVIS BULKHEAD:
The Davis Bulkhead is located at the north end of the harbor. Across the street from 26 Robbins Road and is approximately 1100' away from the main marina. (power & water but no WIFI or restrooms) The Falmouth Raw Bar restaurant is close by and can be noisy during the summer season.
INTERNET/WIFI:
Wireless Internet on LOW DATA mode is available at the main marina only. (180 Scranton Ave) Wi-Fi is not provided at the Tides, Robbins Road or the Davis Bulkhead locations. You can obtain the WIFI password at check-in.

Requests for specific slips will be honored whenever possible but cannot be guaranteed. Slip assignments are subject to change without notice.

Generally it is awesome! One issue: the security cameras cannot see my boat or several others nearby. When our boat was broken into last season that proved to be a problem.
We stayed here for a wedding that was being held in town after our original lodging plans fell through (staying on the boat is always better anyways!). Paula from the HM office was very helpful and accommodating. The main docks were full due to a fishing event but she was able to put us on their auxiliary location (a bulkhead pier adjacent to the Tides Motel) that had electric and water. It was a great spot being able to see all the local boats come and go. Wake was never an issue and it was pretty busy during the day. Will absolutely be coming back!!
Falmouth marina is always pleasant and easy to deal with. We left early due to bad weather and they quickly refunded the unused days without being asked.

Great marina! We were on the face dock so we could get to West Marine (across the street) and replace our refrigerator. After having come from Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket and staying on moorings for the same price as this dock, we were so happy. Clean bathrooms and showers and anything else you could need just a block or 2 away!
Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Showers and toilets are nice and clean. Great dining options within easy walking distance. Harbor is extremely busy on weekends which can be disconcerting when docking/undocking. On the other hand all the boat traffic can be interesting viewing.

Super staff with the greatest views on the Cape with fantastic restaurants within walking distance. Only down side are the bathrooms and showers are old and on a busy weekend it would be great if they added additional cleaning staff. That said the marina and staff make this our favorite curing destination and we cannot wait to see everyone next year.

Excellent facilities! We walked/biked everywhere we needed/wanted to get to. Would have liked to have ice machine a little closer than the supermarket, but minor inconvenience (bring back pack next time).
Several staff members were observed to be sitting around doing nothing every time we entered the front office. When questions were asked, the inexperienced staff had no answers. Police the parking lot situation! Do not let people park there trailers like morons so that nobody can get out! I had to back my boat, trailer, and truck over one curb, across Scranton Avenue, over another curb and into someone’s front lawn all while scratching the canvas of my t-top through the trees! …and all of that cost me $1,000. If I could give this review zero stars I would have. Find another marina!

Excellent docking facilities, wide slips, finger piers make it easy to tie up and disembark, plenty of helpful, courteous staff, we were assisted with tying up, water, electric etc. all excellent, one sore spot were the rest rooms, while everything else seemed to be in new condition, they were not treated to the same standard of care, could have been cleaner, and two of the self flush toilets had malfunctioned.
Marina was excellent. Organized upon arrival, clean, quiet, help from staff docking, etc. Great all around. Thank you to all and the Town of Falmouth.
Accommodating staff, good quality docks, rest rooms/showers are close to the docks, nearby laundry/groceries and West Marine store. The best slip prices we have had in the NY and MA area and a 1/3 of what we paid in the same harbor at other places.

The marina staff were very accommodating and extremely helpful. They were friendly and knowledgeable. The docks were the best docks that I have ever tied my boat to. I will definitely be returning. I might also add that there some great restaurants within walking distance.
Really loved this spot for two reasons. First, the location of where we were put…we were literally inside the inlet by just a few feet, and we had the absolute best view we have ever had in the Northeast, yet it was protected. The little beach across the parking lot was nice, but the second reason we enjoyed it was because of the people. The dock staff were first-rate, and the families that were fishing were fun to watch. Lots of good conversations with friendly people. You can bet that we’ll be back (assuming we can get a spot). It might not be a fancy marina, but they had great water and reliable electricity. Stayed for 3 nights in the first week of August. Love Falmouth inner harbor and the town of Falmouth. Our stay at the marina was good. Staff is friendly, particularly accommodating with adding an extra day as we were enjoying ourselves so much. Only issues were miscommunication about what side we'd be tying up on and that pump-out boat only runs Fri-Sunday. We arrived on Sunday and enquired and were told we could schedule any time. Come Monday found out we were out of luck. Marina should also add Y-valves to spigots on pedestals as there are not enough for the number of slips. But minor gripes. Overall a super location, close to town, Grocery, and even a West Marine. And at a very reasonable price which is getting very hard to find these days. Look forward to returning.

A gem on Nantucket Sound. A great layover spot for easy access to Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. The docks are well maintained. The staff is helpful and accommodating. Easy walking distance to downtown Falmouth's many restaurants, grocery stores and other businesses. While the marina itself does not have a pump out or fuel, there are two locations in the same protected harbor for fuel and pump out.
Super convenient and reasonable marina. A grocery almost directly across the street and town a pleasant walk. Facilities were clean and the setting is in a town park so great access for pets. Recommend.
Always clean, easy in & out, great floating docks and a reasonable price. What’s not to like? Oh the ferry can be a little noisy, but this is a great, well protected harbor. Easy walk into town for great dining, and a food and marine store walkable also.
The facility was excellent - slip, dock area, services and amenities. Plenty of parking and drive up access to load/unload. Staff were professional and courteous, and flexible when I had questions and concerns. Would definitely stay here again!

We asked for the bulkhead entering the harbor and got it. Even though this spot isn't close to the office there were plenty of staff there to help our two boats tie up. Very helpful. Great spot to watch the boats go by and always a nice breeze. Not good if you don't have a car, but we did.
They couldn't have been more helpful. We arrived early and they made arrangements for us to tie up at the entrance bulkhead while we waited and we were able to visit the Falmouth YC with which our club is affiliated. Nice clean rest rooms and showers !

Hope to never have to stay at Tides Bulkhead again. Compounded by inattentive dock hands. First tied us up, which we then redid as not tied well or correctly, plugged in. Second, came back and said they needed to move us forward because they’d forgotten a boat was coming in behind us. Changed power to stern pedestal. Phoned when we were out to dinner to ask us to change power to bow (again) so boat behind us could plug in at our stern as their cord couldn’t reach their bow. All this for the privilege of docking in a parking lot, with cars parked 6 feet from boat and no bathrooms. Oh, and the harbormaster told us not to come back in August because he won’t have any dockhands.

Always a pleasant stay here at the town Docks. We were on D dock and it was awesome . Great neighbors and a close walk to everything you need. We had our 2-16 year old beagles and the park area up past the hill is great for dogs. The town has doggy barrels and dispensers but they were empty. We always have our own. Great long weekend in Falmouth. Highly recommended

The marina is very safe and quiet. It's so nice to be in a slip rather than a mooring. West Marine and Windfall Market are across the street. Falmouth Town center is about a mile walk with nice shops and restaurants. This marina should be added to every cruiser's list when exploring Vineyard and Nantucket Sounds.

Brendan was very helpful. But the floating docks appeared to be designed by somebody who has never taken a boat to a marina. The slip we were put in had a piling At the dock right were the bow should be. The electricity and water required the hose and cords to cross the dock becoming a tripping hazard. Then there was the challenge of not enough cleats. Anyway nice place though the restaurants seem to close early and West Marine closes at 5. But it’s convenient to groceries and a laundromat.

Two stays. First at the marina docks themselves and they are floating and good. Convenient to downtown as well. Second time we were out at the pier they control at the mouth of the harbor on our 55 pilot house. Not a good answer. Had a boater not paying attention and hit our starboard side. Exposure is too great there. Staff at the marina itself was exceptional.

The docks were nice as were the bathrooms, but the staff were inexperienced and had difficulty controlling and tying up my boat when I arrived. When I went to the office to check in they acted as though I was an imposition. I felt as though I was at the town tax assessor's office. In the future I'll stick to privately owned marinas.

Very well protected marina near top of Falmouth Harbor, walking distance into town and West Marine, upscale market, Flying Bridge restaurant and Dunkin Donuts close by. Great floating docks a couple of feet above water level with very safe perforated metal surface. Key access to nearby bathrooms and showers that are kept very clean.

It would've been a 5 star review however they put us on the bulkhead which is almost at the mouth of the harbor. It was pretty rocky. Not so much for our Marlow but our friends 50' viking was rocking like crazy. We would've preferred to be at their main dock further in where there is less current and closer to town and the Raw Bar. We also had to run our Gen for our 50amp leg that runs our AC because the breaker kept overloading..Spent 6 days in Nantucket and travel alot, that never happens. We really like Falmouth and if need be stay in the same place, we would.
