PYC was awesome. Alert and friendly waterfront staff, welcoming members, great facility ( heads, showers, lawn, porch and bar). Harbor and moorings are safe and snug, although getting to the harbor from open water is a 4 mile winding path around peninsulas and sandbars. Watch the buoys and charts and mind the big power boats and commercial traffic that throw big wakes until you get to the inner harbor.
Plymouth is what it is, but we found some great antique shops and excellent restaurants.
