Good stop to stage for the Gulf crossing. Fuel and pump out with friendly and able dock hands. They had great communication on the radio and managed a large number of boats that were coming in. Clean bathrooms and showers and laundry is always a plus. We checked in at the fuel dock when we were fueling up–took a little while because they had to find our paperwork with our boat info and then had to ring us up there. All boats had to check-in at the fuel dock, which delayed the fueling up process a bit as boats were waiting in the channel. They managed the crowds well, but would have been easier if there was a way to do it electronically before we arrived. Make sure to check out the bottle house while you’re there!

We stayed at the Moorings at carabelle as a stop over waiting for a weather window to cross the Gulf. This place is a gem. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The customer service here is above and beyond from catching lines, picking us up in a golf cart and taking us to the laundromat. There is a pool and hotel rooms, fuel and pump out. They also have general delivery at the marina for anything that needs to delivered to you. This is a definite stopping point on your journey. Restaurants and provisions all within walking distance of the marina. When you come, Jimmy is your guy. Always smiling and very helpful with anything you need. We couldn’t have had a better stay. We absolutely recommend this marina.

Great Marina, friendly helpful staff. We found the fuel during our visit to be very reasonable. Enjoyed a free breakfast and the restaurants were close by within walking distance.

We liked this place. Can walk to store and local cafes. The fuel was a bit high priced. Nothing much for tech. services. There is a west marine in the next town and always someone who can drive you.

My family and I very much enjoyed our 3 days at the Moorings. We brought our own boat and found the marina facilities to be excellent. We love the water around Dog Island which is a short run from the Moorings docks. We also played in the river when the ocean was too rough for our small boat. Our room overlooking the marina/water was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and our kids enjoyed use of the free bikes and pool. Be sure to visit the Carrabelle Junction for lunch.
