A favoured outpost among seasoned yachtsmen, Highbourne’s impeccable marina is located within a naturally sheltered harbour.
An ideal dock for those journeying through or around the Exumas, it features 750ft of face dock for yachts up to 180ft (8’ draft) and 16 back-in slips for boats of up to 75ft. Reservations ahead of arrival are strongly recommended.
Standard marina amenities include fuel (large capacity diesel tanks), power, reverse-osmosis water, ice, wireless internet, and a well-stocked store.

We always stay here a few days going south then north. Highbourne feels like home. Kenny is always our dockhand and we consider him a friend now. He wouldn't even let me carry the trash to the bin. The facilities are pristine, the showers excellent and Xumas restaurant is charming and memorable. Garret is a star chef in the kitchen. The office staff are so welcoming too. Just go.

We just wrapped up an unforgettable sailing trip through the Exumas, and our stay at Highbourne Cay Marina was a true highlight. Thank you to all the staff that help make this an exceptional place. From the moment we approached the marina, the experience felt first-class. The facilities are exceptional. The marina is immaculately maintained, with clean docks, reliable power and water, and well-kept amenities throughout. The grounds are stunning, beautifully landscaped, quiet, and exactly what you hope for when arriving in the Exumas. What really sets Highbourne apart is the overall atmosphere. It strikes a perfect balance between upscale and relaxed. You feel like you're somewhere special, but never uncomfortable or out of place. I can tell you, we miss this place already. We’ll be returning for years to come. To add, the restaurant was excellent. Great food, solid service, and an ideal setting after a long day on the water. In fact, I think it was the best restaurant of the entire trip. Whether you're stopping in for a night or planning a longer stay, it’s a perfect place to recharge. Location-wise, this place is hard to beat. Highbourne is an ideal jumping-off point into the Exuma Cays Land & Sea Park and beyond, making it a strategic and enjoyable stop on any itinerary. We’ve sailed in a lot of places, and Highbourne Cay Marina stands out as one of the best-run and most enjoyable marinas we’ve experienced. Highly recommend. We’ll absolutely be back.
This is the nicest marina we’ve been to in the Bahamas. Well maintained for the most part. Several groomed beaches. Staff is very nice. Had problems with the power. Voltage was too high and some electronics, like Victron Multiplus would not connect. Pricey, but I nice marina.
Excellent as always! The dock hand are quick and excellent at line placement and greeting us with welcoming smiles and caring attitudes. Love coming back to old friends!

Outstanding experience everything was in order at all times
We had a great time. Compared to other islands in the Bahamas, Highbourne is more on the resort side, very well kept with a friendly staff . I highly recommend the beach bar for a drink or Xuma restaurant.
This marina never disappoints! Beautiful setting. The food and service are excellent at Exuma. The free use of their bicycles is greatly appreciated. It's such a beautiful bike ride on the hilly desolate paths that overlook the beach and ocean. This is one of the most beautiful marina and setting in the Bahamas.
It is my fourth time at the Marina. Everything is amazing. For me, the only problem that can be easily solved, is having more golf carts to rent. The island is beautiful to be explored by golf carts.

Excellent marina and restaurant. Quite expensive! Enjoyed our one night, wanted to stay longer but they were full due to the extremely windy conditions!
Very good overall. While dock power was stable, disappointed with 134 VAC at dock. (Seems to be the norm in Exuma’s) Docks need minor board repair … trip hazards. Dockmaster very helpful with fueling and slip tie-up. Great beach at north Beach Bar and good service / great meals at restaurant.

We had a short but very nice stay. Great staff, nice facilities, wonderful food. Definitely worth a stop.
It started with the Dockmaster telling us that we could not have the slip on the lea ward side of the dock because there was a 150' yacht coming in when there wasn't. then when we ordered take out dinner for 5 the food was the worst I have ever had in the Bahamas. we thru most of it out. then it ended with them trying to charge me an additional for $240 electric. They charged $200/night for 2 x 50 amp 220v service when we were paying 1/2 that for metered service. I will not be back!!!!
Absolutely beautiful place! Beach right by the marina and another one on the Atlantic side, and another one in a cove towards the north side with a bar. Great restaurant overlooking the sunset, great dockhands and a beautiful island
