Excellent service when we arrived. Also, the marina has been physically upgraded since we last visited. Only downside of this Harbor is a lot of rolling from passing ship traffic. We will visit again.
Very helpful manager. We had a well protected mooring. The docks and slips are in excellent shape.
Great Dockmaster, excellent service, handy location to visit chocolate factory and walk Rockland.
Roland was very helpful, with fueling, setting us up on the dock. Sorry they didn’t have pump out service. He says that is com8 g.
Polite and helpful. Location the best for Hamilton marine and Main Street
Great marina and staff. Cooked out on their grills that are clean and full of pane. Staff even pumps out owners dingy after rain - first class!!!!
Staff is fantastic, good location. Al little rolly, but that is Rockland
Everything was fine, except the rollers rocked the boat at the dock quite a bit.
The Landing is more yachting friendly and helpful that Journey's End. Rockland harbor is not very comfortable a lot of boat traffic and wakes well into evening. Then starts again early morning.
Nice and friendly folks there. Will help you with stuff you need.
Great team on the dock, clean facilities, nice atmosphere, what’s not to like !
Roland and the crew could not be more accommodating to boaters. We’ve been here twice in two weeks to sit out weather, and they’ve done everything they can to get boats in. A little rocky on the dock in big winds, but safe and close to a great little town.
Wonderful staff and location is great but boaters should be aware there is an almost constant swell that can effect even the most inside boats
Had a wonderful time in Rockland and had the best mooring in town!
Friendly, very knowledgeable, and accommodating staff. Owner’s direct involvement is evident throughout it operation, from cleanliness of bathrooms to cheerful attitudes on the docks.
Always a great stay. The facilities and owner are top notch
With 20+ years as a professional sailor, I've stayed in hundreds of marinas around the world. This past week I spent 2 days at the Landings Marina in Rockland and it was one of the best marina experiences I've had. Roland, the owner, is fantastic. Very attentive and very helpful. The dock staff clearly take his lead as well, doing everything they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. As marinas around the world are swallowed up by 2-3 giant corporations, service suffers at many of them. It's great to see a local marina that still treats boaters like valued customers and not just a revenue source.
Enjoyed our stay at Landings on a mooring. Very accommodating owner on-site much of the time makes doing business, making changes to length of stay, or attend to issues easy. We were able to have boat parts delivered by UPS. Clean restrooms, reasonably priced laundry onsite. We will return. Would like to see mooring balls more easily identified with distinctive markings in the sea of white mooring balls in Rockland Harbor.
Beautiful, huge harbor. Landings has about 20 mooring balls, and we scored one. It was out near the last ones, but good anyway. Amenities and terrific! Easy walk into town. Highly recommend.
Great stop great team. 10 stars on my opinion. New owners are ticking it. Will be back again hopefully in better weather. Too Elusive
Had a great time. Met the owner a very pleasant person and his staff were very helpful.
It was a really wonderful stay. The staff were unusually friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived till we left the fuel dock the next day.
Roland has improved the experience 100% since he became owner.
We had a wonderful stay at Landings Marina (as usual). Great dock staff, many improvements under the newer management, and they had ice - a bit of a rarity lately.
Very enjoyable. Staff was pleasant. It was nice to explore around the area.
Landings Marina is well run and efficient. Roland and the other staff are professional, courteous, and very helpful.
Roland, the person in charge, was delightful. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and cheerful. And the facilities and services are top notch.
Outstanding marina. Should have stayed a week. Easy fueling and terrific welcome from Roland. Thanks for a great stay.
Roland and Matt were kind, welcoming and attentive to the customers needs.
We stayed on a mooring. A little better direction to the location of the mooring would have been good. “It’s to your port side after passing channel marker “is not adequate. There were 200 moorings there. Give us a row -number in approximately—something. Other than that the communication was fine with passwords etc!!
We were there 4 nights this past week. The entire crew was most helpful and friendly in every interaction. Also received some important local knowledge which enhanced our stay.
If I could give 10 stars I would! It was such a blessing to see the fog lift and the clouds part for a beautiful summer day of sunshine, and a star filled sky. I felt right at home at Landings! The crew is friendly and helpful. The showers are hot and very clean. It's a great place to spend a weekend, or the whole summer.
The staff at Landings is great! They met us at the dock as we came in. The facility is clean and well-maintained. It is a great location for cruisers. I highly recommend this marina! and well
a little challenge with electric but switched poles. clean laundry facilities. friendly super helpful staff. great location. hamilton marine next door!
One of the best in Maine, certainly in Rockland!!! The owner is upgrading things all the time, great place to stay.
We’ve been staying at Landings Marina for years during our annual downeast cruise. We’ve never been disappointed, and for that reason we’ve never stayed anyplace else in Rockland Harbor. The location is within east walking distance to the terrific downtown which includes the Farnsworth art museum. Today we’re listening to a weekend long blues festival that we can hear from the marina. One year our visit coincided with the annual lobster festival. We consider stopping in Rockland a must, and wouldn’t stay anywhere but Landings Marina.
Nice marina and dock masters. Good bathrooms and great location to town and restaurants. I would stay here again
Landings Marina & dockmaster Roland were great! A delight to chat with, he is a great ambassador for Rockland. He was there to meet us, got us fueled & watered, and made sure our stay was delightful. Landings is right in town and next to Hamiltons. :-) A nice stop and we'll be back next time through.
You got to love this locally owned, operated, and local personality of this Maine marina. This to say nothing of the fact you are in the best part of Rockland with a marine store, best restaurants, art museum, library, and more within a half mile walk. Happy Boating in Midcoast Maine!
Dean is a good guy, helpful and understanding. The facilities in general are just "ok", they were having issues with the fuel pump and were in the process of fixing. Power was another issue, our 50A would not stay on, after a few re-set drills it was hot to the touch, I immediately disconnected our power cord. Dean did give us a generous refund on our stay, that was appreciated and noted.
Staff has been great and facilities are clean and orderly. Very easy and comfortable stay.
Another Dockwa great marina! They work hard there to provide exceptional service. They are also friendly and make sure our stay was comfortable….we will be back 👍🏻 We did return to Rockland and only wanted to stay here. Exceptional friendliness and hard workers
I have visited Landings Marina many times over the years and it is my favorite stop-over on the Maine coast. They offer great personal service and are willing to work with the boater's needs. The new owner is carrying on that tradition and has made major improvements. There is a restaurant at the marina and a variety of dining places within easy walking distance. Hamilton Marine supply is just across the street. This is the place to refresh your crew and your vessel.
Great town for restaurants if your willing to do a a little walking. If not, a good restaurant on the marina grounds. Attentive owners and service!
We stayed here for one week waiting for calmer weather. Our slip was a bit rocky, mostly due to local commercial traffic that didn't seem to care about waking the harbor. The marina was recently taken over by new management. The facilities were nice enough, but could use some upgrades. Close to shops and food. The only thing that isn't close is the grocery. Check out Buoy Park for great food trucks. On Saturdays, the best BBQ in Maine can be found right across the street. Go early because they sell out. Don't miss it.
