Straits State Harbor

Great marina in a terrific location. Easy walking distance to the ferry for a trip over to the island. In the middle.of downtown. Adequate restroom facilities. Pumpout and fuel available. Easy reservation through DNR site, although of you have a problem getting in, call the marina directly the day of. Did not use the showers or laundry but they are available. Biggest drawback is that the state marinas will not take shipments for boaters so if you need a delivery that comes via UPS, FedEx or the like, they cannot accept delivery. Both Instacart and WalmartPlus deliver to the area.

Quiet marina right off of downtown Mackinaw City. We are not a fan of the Michigan State online reservation system so called to make a reservation. It was a bit into the off season so no problem getting a slip, but wish it was easier to see what the prices were for dockage (next door we learned was cheaper after we docked). But attentive staff who helped us fuel up and pump out. The channel to enter is a bit tricky if not paying attention (would be helpful to have a map) but plenty of depth and room once you can see the path in.
