Spent 2 very nice days at this municipal dock. It’s one long face dock and seems very busy. It fronts on a large city park that is busy all day and into the evening. The local folks we met were extremely friendly.
The docks and power pedestals seem new and are in great condition. The harbormaster was extremely helpful when we arrived and ensured we tied up to face the ebb currents which are strong.
The heads and showers can be a long walk if you’re tied to the upstream end of the dock. The showers are adequate but only available from 7 AM to 7 PM. There’s a free laundry in the same facility.
There are enough interesting restaurants nearby that you could stay for a couple weeks, eat out every night and never eat at the same place twice. Newburyport is a fine little city.
