We really enjoy staying at the moorings here on our sailboat with our dog. Easy to get into land on our dinghy and lots to do in the downtown Newburyport area including a beautiful riverside park and walkway, and lots of stores and dog-friendly restaurants. A bit loud at night for music across the river but otherwise a pleasant stay. River currents are strong and very busy boat traffic going up and down the river.
