I don't normally take the time to write reviews but this place deserves one. Chicks Marina checks ALL the boxes for any boater/yacht captain that is looking for an easy, no stress docking experience. Clearly every detail in every area of this marina has been given considerable thought and attention to.The ENTIRE marina is immaculate, the docks, decks ,patios and bathrooms are no exception.Take comfort in the construction of the docks ,waterand electrical systems which can easily handle larger vessels with confidence.....Even the pilings are stout. The Marina staff are EXCELLENT , these people love their jobs and it shows in all that they do, from the dock-hands, dock-master to the group in the office. They welcome every guest with a sincere enthusiasm that you don't see anywhere else. Not enough good things can be said about the staff. Chicks Marina is a standard bearer that all other marinas regardless of size should strive to duplicate. I can safely say that Chicks helps make a visit to this beautiful town a perfect one.

Thanks to all at Chicks for a great trip! The staff are fantastic and very helpful and accommodating. Miss Chris in the office even shuttled me around town to an obligation I had scheduled. Thank you! The docks are very nice and well kept, as is the whole marina. Everything from the shore power to the cleats are all suitable for bigger boats, which can be an issue at smaller marinas up this way. The town is beautiful and the weather was great. We will be back next summer for sure. Thanks y’all 🙌🏻

Great stay. Service from Amy, Emily and the staff of young folks in the dock was awesome. Good washdown of my boat at a reasonable price. Nice to have the six person golf cart to get in out of town. Overall, very pleasant experience. Highly recommended

Very attentive staff. Facility clean and modern.

One of the nicest marinas we have stayed at. The people were all so nice and helpful. The whole area including the bathrooms was spotless clean. They have an electric vehicle that takes you anywhere within reason for free. Coffee and different breads every morning. Amy the manager was great. And Rudder, the yellow lab, clearly runs the place! Beautiful, large yellow lab who came to greet us every morning. Even their store for logo goods is great. Can’t praise them enough. Hope to come back someday.

Sparkling clean facilities with staff and dock hands who couldn’t be any friendlier or more helpful. We’ve only ever heard good things about Chicks Marina and they’ve exceeded our expectations.

One of my favorite marinas to visit. Scenery is beautiful, friendly welcoming staff, great showers. You can Walk to town in 10 mins or beaches. Calm water, great coffee, truly a New England gem.

Amy, Tyler and pup Rudder were all so welcoming. Super clean, charming facilities. Coffee and treats during the day. Free shuttling to local attractions. But conveniently located to walk to a lot of great restaurants, shopping, galleries and beach!

Amy and the rest of her group were great. Ideal location with great facilities for our 63 foot Riva. Drove us to the White Barn Inn for a fabulous dinner and to rent bicycles. We will be back. Thanks Amy

Looking for a well operated, clean, courteous and great location of a marina with clean docks that won't foot track on to your clean boat? Then Chick's is it. From a welcoming Emily who will take your reservation, to Amy, the manager, who is not only accommodating, she is kind and caring. Check out the offered Chick's Marina clothing that Amy has personally selected... high quality at a fair price! Tyler the dock manager, along with Addi are very attentive, competent and a pleasure to talk with. They have a shuttle to downtown and Gooch's Beach and although they don't charge for it, we always leave a tip for their kind hospitality! Oh, and btw, when you are there, be sure to say hi to "Rudder!"

First Class marina. Docks are in great shape, very clean facility and the entire staff wants to make sure your stay is memorable in a great way. Always asking to help, take your trash, delivering amazon packages to your boat etc. This will be our marina when we are visiting Kennebunkport. Have stayed at other marinas in Kennebunkport and none compartment to Chicks. Water can get skinny in areas when entering Kennebunkport, recommend entering at mid to high tide.

We spent several nights at Chick's Marina and it was one of the best of not the best experience we've had cruising the coast of Maine. Amy and Chris are wonderful, so helpful and trying to please us, We had Tyler on the Dock and he and his partner are again just amazing. There are several options in Kennebunkport but for our time and money there's none better than Chick's. We will stay again next year on our trip to Maine.

From the pre-arrival information, the line assistance upon arrival, power supply, the marina store until you depart but most important the outstanding friendliness and hospitality of the marina personnel, Amy, Chris, the dockhands (and their cute dogs), it always feels like coming home. There's no overselling. They deliver everything they say and more. (Hint: work on the fuel price :-) )

One of the most well maintained marinas I have ever stayed in. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. The location is a short walk to downtown Kennebunkport. Extremely pleasant location with minimal boat traffic during the day and dead quiet at night. Easy inlet access but do not enter at low tide.

First time visiting Kennebunkport. This was a lovely place to stay. Everyone was most accommodating and made us feel right at home. Can't wait to return.

Picked up boat today w a dead battery. We paid for storage and charging in the fall and spring. We were told They knew there was a problem with the battery yet we were told to come up and pick up the boat. Could have been a dangerous situation.

Chicks Marina is the best. Super-professional. Everything is new, clean, and ship-shape. Never seen better.

Bailed out from a trip to Portsmouth from Portland due to heavy weather. Grabbed a slip here and they couldn't have been nicer. Easy walk into town where we grabbed a bite to eat based on their recommendation. Off season so really quiet at the dock.

This a a really unique marina. The setting is fantastic - a small marina on a quiet cove, right near town. There is loads to do in every direction -- biking, walking, shopping, etc. Mostly though, Chicks is run by folks that really care. The level of service and quality facilities reflect owners and employees that are best at what they do.

Simply the best! Chris, Amy, Tyler and Rudder (dock dog) are the most welcoming and pleasant people & dock dog you could meet.

We spent 6 wonderful days at Chicks Marina. The staff are all professional and personal. We were last at this marina in 2018 and were not pleased with the service or friendliness of the place. It was clear that they needed a management change. Their new manager, Amy, has done a remarkable job of creating an inviting and welcoming atmosphere. We highly recommend!

I can't say enough about the level of excellence that we experience when we stay at Chicks! The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. Amy and Emily were so lovely! The facilities are clean and bright, an important factor for me. The dock hands really know what they're doing, and were super helpful. And I can't forget to mention those yummy baked goods that are available to Chicks' guests! We'll be back, for sure!

Chick's is a well maintained marina. It is central to downtown or the coastline. What makes it exceptional is the staff. They are pleasant, accommodating and a pleasure to be around. Thank you Amy, Emily, Chris, Tyler and Adam for making our stay an enjoyable one!

Great marina near town amazing staff and services.

Extremely nice marina. Very small and a little pricey but if you can get in it is definitely worth it. Very tight channel in the river during the approach. We were met by 2 excellent dockhands who were very efficient. The facilities were impeccable. Great floating docks, beautiful main office and store, spotless restrooms/showers and a convenient laundry. They even have a shuttle to run you into town if you want (also an easy walk). We’ll worth the visit.

Excellent facilities and extremely helpful, friendly staff. Very short walk to town restaurants and shops, but staff are eager to drive their fun six seater electric cart so be prepared for multiple offers. Transient docking is on outside edge of a long face dock but it’s calm and boat traffic obeys the no wake speed. We came in mid tide and current was minimal. Will come again.

A wonderful Marina, great coffee, friendly staff, delicious lemon blueberry cake, and a cute little store! The bathrooms are great with nice showers which is a bonus! Onsite laundry and the Gem electric vehicle was a welcome bonus! Close to town for food and shopping as well, couldn’t ask for anything more! We will definitely stay again. - Liquid Therapy

Had a great experience staying at the marina, we are a little early in the season which was nice as we had free rein of the docks. Staff was very nice and communication before, during and after our stay was great. Highly suggest stopping by if given the opportunity.

We had a great 2 nights at Chicks. The staff was great, and the facilities were excellent. Rudder, the dock dog was so friendly and a welcome sign every morning as he stood patiently awaiting to be pat. Great location, a short 5 min. walk to restaurants and bars, or you can utilize the free electric cart ride. The marina is nestled in to a nice calm cove making sleeping on the docks quite enjoyable. Can't wait to return next season!!

Great team of people working here. Tyler, Adam and Chris were all great. Beautiful dock and facilities. Easy walk to town. Would stay here any time im in the area. Current is strong though, and the channel is narrow, so care is warranted.

We really enjoyed our stay at Chicks. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a bit of an issue getting electric, but the dockhands took care of it immediately! We were originally put on the face dock and that was great because the (no wake zone) river traffic is fun to watch. We were moved to a finger pier, but still had a nice view and could watch the kids jumping off the bridge right off our bow. The facilities are great. Nice bathrooms, clean shared spaces with well maintained bbq's and the swag shop if fully loaded with excellent logo stuff. I walked to town most of the time, but the eco-car is super cool and always at the ready to take you someplace. Great place!

Every few years we travel from Cape Cod to Down East Maine and always stay at Chick's Marina. It is by far the cleanest and most professionally run marina that we stay at! The crew is awesome! Always perfect in every way!

This was our first visit to Chicks. It was recommended by long time boaters from our home marina. The entire staff was very helpful and friendly. The facility is clean, well maintained and attractive. Great proximity to all the attractions of downtown Kennebunkport. Wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend this marina

Very nice marina. We were there in early June. It was quiet due to early season and Covid. Staff was very helpful and stayed a little late to help us tie up after a rougher and slower than expected trip there. Hope to stay there again soon.

Amazing staff and immaculate facilities. Nice family atmosphere and having Rudder roaming around the docks saying hi to everyone is just the icing on the cake. Being dog friendly just says something about these folks. They are happy to shuttle you around and their dock managers are the absolute best. The store is extremely unique and I am happy to say I have my Chicks Gear now and very happy. They are kind, open to you having guests in and out and COVID 19 conscious. Excellent stay. This was our first time and certainly will not be our last it was perfect start to finish great slip warm and friendly greeting so many things within walking distance beaches restaurants little shops all within half a mile and if you are not one for walking they have a courtesy shuttle to get you around our dock and Walker was so friendly and knowledgeable we had a wonderful stay!

Our getaway to K'port could not have been better. The marina is pristine and the staff is absolutely top notch. They were ready for us upon arrival and offered assistance in docking. We were always offered rides into town and were graced by the presence of Rudder. We will certainly look forward to returning. Highly recommend!

Amy and all of the staff at chicks Marina are absolutely outstanding. They have the best customer service there is. My dog wound up getting his nail caught in the track of a my boat, Amy in the staff help the so much gave us all kinds of 1st aid products for my dog. They were also so helpful with everything at the Marina. The Marina is so well kept it's beautiful it's maintained perfectly. If you are looking for a Marina to stand I would pick this one over any Marina.

Be it that I used to manage and live at Chicks- I'm a little bit of a biased audience BUT Chicks is a very special place: If you're a transient vessel and you want to experience Kennebunkport (my hometown), Chicks is the best way to do it! They're home to the largest and deepest capacity slips and they're the ONLY fuel dock in town! The dockmaster, Tyler, is super helpful and the dockhand staff (especially Henry, Adam and Schuyler) are top notch... I'm so grateful for my time at Chicks and many of those customers I met there have become lifelong friends!

Beautiful location close to town. Price high and strict no refund policy and no pump out service. Staff was nice and beautiful area.

Great stay! Staff was exelent, they were standing at the peir waiting for me to pull in. Kennebunk river was easier than expected to navigate. Short walk to town. Can't believe how helpful and atentive the staff was, they treated me as if i pulled in on one of the Hinkleys they had tied up, despite the contrary. Will be back next year.

This marina was a bit on the pricy side, but the service was top notch, the facilities were clean, and the staff was friendly. I would definitely return.

Sailing to Chick's from Perkins Cove for the first time was a perfect day. The Chick's crew waved us in as we approached the dock, helped us secure our lines given the swift current, and was extremely helpful during our short stay. Making the arrangements via Dockwa was very efficient. Surrounded by Hinkley's impressed my crew. Everything at Chick's is perfectly maintained. Well done!

The staff at Chick's, as well as its location make this a wonderful destination or stopover. They couldn't be nicer or more helpful --- prior to arrival, while docking or refueling at docks that already have fenders, during the stay, and when departing. We had to leave earlier than planned due to a death in the family, but we will return.

This was our second 4th of July week at Chick’s Marina and it is in a word: stellar. From the incredible pre-arrival contact, follow-up, and personal attention paid to every transient, to the marina manager, Charlotte, dock hands Henry, Tyler, Eric, Jake, Schuyler, and the great marina dogs Sophie and Rudder and all of them. Each and every one sport a smile and a can-do attitude going above and beyond in every way. Coffee, muffins, Whoopi pies, and the coolest marina merchandise around, the place hums like a top. Fuel dock for gas and diesel so convenient and hoses that can reach virtually any slip on the dock. Spot-on radio contact and docking assistance makes your arrival with or without current and at any tide simple and stress free. Thank you gentleman and ladies. They have ice and most of the basic essentials in the small supply store and can get you most anything you may need. Restaurant recommendations, piping hot showers, laundry and excellent fast (even for Netflix) internet and reliable streaming Wi-Fi. Water hoses placed around with great water pressure and nozzles at the ready. You will enjoy watching the big striper right amongst the docks and the fast and courteous golf cart shuttle around town. Even the trex dock material is impeccably clean and all lines neatly coiled all day every day. Secure gates and parking make for a restful nights sleep. We used the clean and new propane grills and enjoyed several sunsets from the Adirondack chairs on the deck overlooking the river. Simply cannot beat the location, amenities, service, and friendly welcome at this marina. We hadn’t planned a second trip from Boston to ME this year, but now we surely will thanks to the high level of service and comfort at Chick’s. Looking forward to next year already. And our guests have already asked to return as well.

Upon my first visit, I was the only sailing vessel in the marina. The dock staff was attentive, the restrooms were clean and their Ship Store had the best branded apparel of any of the large marinas or boatyards I’ve been to. This place has the ability and wherewithal to handle huge boats but still has the feel of a family establishment. I’ll be coming back!

My wife and I spend the past weekend at Chicks for the first time. Chicks is definitely a five star marina. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, the docks are in great shape, easy access in and out of the marina and the facilities are clean and top notch. The marina has a great store with a nice lounge and patio. From the marina it is a very short stroll to town where they have great restaurants and shops. Great experience! Beautiful full service facility...especially enjoyed the ships store and the complimentary baked goods and coffee. Provided electric car ride to and from downtown area. Treat yourself to a stay at Chicks Marina!

If you find yourself traveling to Maine, & you're looking for a great marina to spend time at this summer, please find your way to Chick's Marina, Kennebunkport. Charlotte & her staff will make your stay more of an experience, rather than just a stopover. From the minute you arrive you're greeted with the smiling faces of Skyler & Jake. When you reach the marina office, where Jennifer was to check us in, there are freshly baked "whoopie pies" waiting for you. If you need a ride into town, well, Charlotte will be happy to assist with their electric 6 seater car. If Newport, RI, were just a bit closer, we would certainly make a monthly trip to Chick's. Charlotte and her team of deckhands were great. The facilities were were in perfect shape and our first trip to Kennebunkport was very memorable. We will be back again and stay longer next time

Welcoming, attentive, helpful and friendly. Facilities and amenities are excellent. Charlotte, Jake, Tyler, Jennifer and Schuyler were all terrific. Eric personally gave us a ride into town one morning! We will keep going back.

First rate all around! Charlotte and the entire dock staff were as helpful and friendly as you could find. The place is immaculate. We’ve stayed elsewhere in Kennebunkport for less money, and Chick’s is better value.

Chicks is the best marina in New England. Charlotte and the staff will go above and beyond to accommodate you. State of the art facilities, great ship store, clean restrooms, and out of this world customer service. If there was a sixth star to give, Chicks would get it!

Chicks Marina is a fabulous marina in Kennebunkport. Charlotte, The GM is wonderful, friendly, engages with the boaters. Charlotte will help to get an answer to any question you might have. The dockhands, in the blue teal shirts, are friendly and go the extra mile to ensure that all needs of their boaters are met. The marina is clean and the facilities are up to date. I highly recommend this marina if you are in the Kennebunkport area. We will see you again.
