Alton Marina

Staff was very helpful with directions and understanding the marina layout as we approached. The facilities are clean and the staff helpful as can be. The transient prices are great. If we ever find ourselves passing this way again we will stop again for certain. On a side note, which has nothing to do with the marina, virtually all of the local restaurants are closed on Monday, and of course we had the urge for a restaurant meal on Monday.

Wildly friendly staff. Plenty in walking distance. Tight passageways for large boats, but doable in reasonable wind.

Great marina! Very friendly and accommodating staff, very nice bathroom/shower facilities, good electrical voltage and water pressure. The little bar/grill offered a great breakfast! Close to town and would definitely stay there again.

We stayed 2 nights. Came into the fuel dock before going to the slip. There wasn’t an attendant available to catch lines so we just did it ourselves. Not a big deal. Once in the slip, our Starlink didnt work because the slip was covered (we requested an uncovered slip) so it was a bit of a scramble to get reliable internet. The marina has wi-fi but we got booted off several times. Very secure location. Laundry was clean and affordable at $1/load. Fast food was about 10 min walk from marina.

Very nice marina. We had a great 2 days. Easy walk to town where we found a nice restaurant. Other boaters were friendly and interesting. Nice facilities, hot showers, all good.

The marina and staff are great and if you want a really good breakfast, stop in the deli, Lunch isn’t bad either actually it’s quite good

Good marina. Should have a courtesy car. Nice facility...pool closed while we were there. Dock master made me move to another slip and hour after we docked.

Nice Marina with all of the amenities. Great showers and bathrooms. The city of Alton was walkable, but a few blocks away.

Wonderful staff and amenities! Had a great time and the docks are perfect. We enjoyed being under cover since it was raining most of our stay.

The staff was great at the fuel dock and office. We got to use the pool on ots last day open. The washrooms were clean and effective. The covered slip was very nice with the rain storm.

Alton Marina was a 5 star marina. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs. The marina hosts a pool and small store/ kitchen serving breakfast lunch and cocktail's. The docks are wide and spacious slips. Well done Alton

The marina was great. Laundry, bathrooms, showers all nice and clean. Staff was polite and helpful. And Enterprise car rental will pick you up and drop you off at the marina!! Great stop

Alton is a great Marina. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Nice Showers, nice pool, gated Marina. Staff is very accommodating.

This is the best spot to dock the boat if you want to explore St. Louis (which is worth exploring!) They also were offering a buy 3 nights get 3 free, which was a great deal. Great pool, bathroom/showers are clean and accessible, and had a decent ship store. Easy walking to parts of downtown (Old Bakery Beer is a must-stop). Have to rent a car or take an Uber to get to St. Louis (~30 min drive). Check in took a bit longer than expected, as had to do it at the fuel dock and there was only one attendant who was working hard to get the stream of boats coming in fueled up and moving on. Great looper docktails every night.

Very nice marina, helpful staff, cheap fuel, Looper discounts. Excellent breakfast restaurant. Nice town with plenty of food and entertainment choices.
