We arrived in Spring of 2022. The marina had just been rebuilt, and the WiFi was just getting started. Over the past 10 months, we have watched the staff grow the marina into a fantastic experience! The docks are amazing, with almost 12' of clearance on the pilings during King Tides. Electric is brand new and clean, water quality is very good. A few months ago they finished and installed the restroom/shower facility barge as well, which really helps. They also added a pump out boat for convenience. The restaurants on site are excellent, with choices for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and an out music bar/restaurant as well.
They do get occasional wakes from he Hage Point ferry boat, but nothing substantial enough to cause concern. During high winds down the fairway against the current I saw nothing substantial in terms of wave action like you see in some marinas with a long fetch in one direction. They are adding more fuel pumps on the new transient dock. Fuel prices have been good as well.
They have a lift which can handle 50 ton boats and I believe the max beam is 19 feet? They have exceptional gel coat workers there which did some work for us.
They have dolphin tours, wave runners and Watersports there as well should you wish. There is a trolley stop nearby to go around the island, but the marina also has free bikes. It's about 15 minutes to the beach by bike. Overall, we love this marina, and have booked our future reservations here already, as this will become a very popular marina in the future.
