I got the second to the last mooring ball before the tropical storm HENRY came through. Everyone was very good and very thorough when it came to the large mooring field. I happen to get Leah as my launch pilot. She has two years of experience and boy can she handle the maneuvering of that launch like a pro!
I’m normally on the hook but for security I picked up the mooring ball and I was very happy I did so. The mooring ball set up unlike other places was extremely easy with a pick up pin and a large line for each of my two bow cleats.
Their launch dock is right next to the center of activity in Northport with a 200 yard walk to Main Street.
