Stayed 2 weekend nights in mid September; Seymours responded back within one hour of requesting reservation on Dockwa. REALLY nice harbor and fun town, well protected, good mooring line. Launch service friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend and visit again!

Seymour’s is our favorite travel location in Southwest Long Island Sound. Excellent harbor and Northport has quite a few excellent restaurants.

The moorings and launch service at Seymour's Boatyard are excellent. Clean bathroom. Great seaside town a 2 minute walk away.

We love love love Seymour’s marina everyone there has always been wonderful great place to stay! The only thing i would suggest is that the marina puts a NO WAKE ZONE closer to entering the harbor Mooring # 31 always gets terrible wakes

Great mooring field. Launch service and staff couldn’t have been better, they are prompt, professional and super nice. The location is perfect, next to a big town park and the Main Street. But the amenities for transients are sparse to say the least. Don’t expect a shower. In fact, the only restroom is a single small room with one commode and one sink, that you access through a basement door that looks like the tornado cellar from The Wizard of Oz. The reality is not consistent with the website description.

Seymour's and Northport Harbor are the best! Very reasonable rates for mooring, launch service included in the cost, friendly and helpful staff and launch drivers, easy access to town. Town-operated pumpout boat operates 7 days a week making longer stays super convenient. First impressions are always important and Seymour's certainly hit that mark. Plenty of other positive reviews are consistent with our experience here and we'll be back again for sure. The town itself is fantastic with lots of great eateries. The Copenhagen bakery/cafe is not to be missed, and be sure to get tickets to whatever is playing at the theater. We saw The Jersey Boys.

Nice operation with two top-notch launches and courteous launch pilots. No shower, but a clean bathroom and ship’s store for the basics.

Spot on service, moorings and launches in great condition, people super friendly. This is our go to quick overnight coming from a local port down the way. And Northport is a fun little town, good food, pretty little park, real harbor town!

getting in to their guest buoys was easy, Launch service was quick and extremely helpful… caution, as the fall season winds down, last launch run each night get earlier (7:45 for us) so you need to confirm before you get off so you dont get stuck on shore for the night

Didnt actually use mooring sca conditions all day. But seymour’s was very accomodating as I tried to make plans.

This is a great place to grab a mooring. The guest moorings are well marked (orange in color vs white) and the launch is fast. The location is perfect to walk into town in about 2 minutes. We will stay many more times in the future.

This is my happy spot! I love Northport Harbor and Seymour’s offers the best moorings and Launch Service right to the side of the dog park! My doggies are most excited when we arrive. Their launch service is always prompt when you call and their drivers and owner are so friendly! I love that it is family owned and that they live close by! My only wish for improvement is for a proper shower facility- they offer a great onshore bathroom, but a shower, even if it was outdoors, would be so nice to clean up with after being on boat all day! But I keep going back regardless, and washing up in salt water as the alternative, or doing sponge bath in their sink! It is a great place!

Great service, very friendly staff, launch drops you in the center of town. We were there only one night and didn’t ask really about all amenities offered by Seymour’s. Even though Moorings are very tight and the boat next to us was partying till 2am, I would definitely come back.

Our spot was a bit distant from the boatyard. but large and safe. Did have a challenge to get the mooring line picked up as the pickup stick is way too low for 55" boat (v55) and the line is too short. The boatyard was quick to help in assisting. Suggest make the bigger vessel spots easier to moor, otherwise good service and nice quaint town.

Guest moorings are close to the office/landing which is adjacent to a beautiful town park and a pleasant downtown. Nice bathroom (no shower). Well maintained facilty and excellent launch service. Would definitely visit again.

Wonderful mooring field. Prompt launch service, that runs until midnight during high season. The town is walkable from the marina. Unfortunately, they don't have marina showers.

Northport is a wonderful harbor and Seymours's offers many moorings, some way away from any boat traffic. You should reserve ahead of time as they can sell out. Very good launch service, gas dock, and ships store.

Excellent - We went to Northport for Cow Harbor Weekend. Seymour's was so convenient. We loved where we were moored. Beautiful scenery and the launch was available constantly. I highly recommend. We will be back.

Launch is very slow but captain was nive.

Seymours was great. Due to weather we were not able to make it on Friday and they allowed us to switch our res to Saturday. We had a great night, the launch driver was very nice. Can’t wait to go again.

I got the second to the last mooring ball before the tropical storm HENRY came through. Everyone was very good and very thorough when it came to the large mooring field. I happen to get Leah as my launch pilot. She has two years of experience and boy can she handle the maneuvering of that launch like a pro! I’m normally on the hook but for security I picked up the mooring ball and I was very happy I did so. The mooring ball set up unlike other places was extremely easy with a pick up pin and a large line for each of my two bow cleats. Their launch dock is right next to the center of activity in Northport with a 200 yard walk to Main Street.

Beautiful area, safe harbor, welcoming staff, and reasonable cost. We road out hurricane Henri here and though it was not a direct hit here we were protected and safe. The harbor is exposed more to the north so consideration should be factored if you're looking for storm protection.

Im sure there is a reason, but it eludes us. Since we are paying Seymours, We would have thought that the Seymour launch service would be willing/able to drop us at CYC dock from our mooring. They instead took us to their pier across the harbor from CYC and we needed to call CYC to come get us. CYC was willing to return us to our Seymour’s mooring after our dinner. Not customer centric thinking on Seymour’s part. Wasted a half hour in the humid heat from quality social time.

The launch was efficient and the captains were pleasant. We had no trouble getting our guest mooring, thank you.

This was our second time at Seymours. The launch operation is first class. Northport is a busy little town with lots of visitors, but with two launches running almost continuously, we never had to wait long for a pick up.

Terrific service as usual. Guest moorings along east side hang right out into the channel with an easterly wind. Some boats passing 10 feet away during peak times :-/

Cruising on the sound? This is a great stop...fuel, moorings, great staff, launch capts and a great town to visit and stretch your legs. Have relied on their services since the 1970s.

Seymour’s Boat yard has provided me with a home away from home. From their properly maintained moorings, to their amazing launch Captains who monitor Channel 68. They will pick you up either from a seasonal or daily rental mooring to their dock, literally, steps away from the quaint Village of Northport. In town there are numerous restaurants, the best bakery and shops. Need fuel? They provide both diesel and gas. Have a pup? They are adjacent to one of the nicest dog friendly parks on Long Island. All that, plus one of the most beautiful Harbors on the North Shore of Long Island.

One of the best marinas out there. The staff is wonderful always working extremely hard. The tender service is fast and the launch operators are awesome. Dave is always around for any help that is needed.

Seymour’s is a wonderful, family-run marina with a fuel dock and helpful, knowledgeable staff. It’s well positioned right near the Northport village dock, and right along the channel. They also have moorings and a fast and professional tender service.

This will be my 5th season at Seymour's Boatyard. The Weber family runs a tight ship and is always there for advice or general help. Not to mention the above and beyond service on a general basis and especially in emergency situations. Dave is always out there! ALWAYS!! This is a family run facility ran by a great family and always helpful staff! Tight lines!!
