A credit that had been promised was not honored. Then, when we arrived the staff appeared poorly trained and did not communicate well on the VHF to us or to other boats seeking their reserved moorings. The tender were pleasant but very slow to respond, up to 30 minutes after a pick-up request had been radioed in. When asked to have the Seymour tender take us and pick us up from a dinner reservation st CYC, the tender operator responded that should might be able to do so if not busy. When I said I needed a firm answer so we did not get stranded her reply was, "in that case, it is a no".
They should also alert all guests that ALL of the mooring in the harbor have their name on them even if other organizations are renting them out. This was not told to us and when Seymour's said we could pick up any mooring, we did but it was not one that they rented so we had to move.
All in all, very poor organization that resulted in poor customer service.
