Great quiet and calm!
Great mooring field. Very protected from most winds/waves.

Lovely mooring area. We were on ball 16 with a 5 foot draft. We didn’t touch bottom but got pretty close. Best to come in on a rising tide if you’re going to that area or deeper into the mooring field.
A little rolly on ball 30. Further n May have been better. Balls look in great condition. 40$ seems high for a 39’ boat….
Stayed for 3 days and it was so peaceful. Calm and sheltered anchorage. Even saw dolphins one morning!
Fantastic mooring. Beach close to walk the dogs, protected from almost all direction wind. Close enough to Lake Victoria to get groceries or go out. Easy to connect to mooring and the number of other boats was low so felt quiet. Feels far when coming in, just entry was due to deep channel and avoiding coastal. Will stay again for sure.
It is a beautiful and protected mooring field. However, you should note that the farthest moorings are difficult or impossible to access at mid to low tide for any boat that draw 5ft or more.
Local go fast boats rip through the mooring field full speed waking boats hard if you are getting into or out of a dingy it could be bad or if someone is in the water it could be fatal! This needs to be addressed before someone becomes a statistic.
We loved it here! Super calm and isolated and still a (big) dinghy ride from town or cruiser floating city. Great protection from all directions. Decently our favorite place in the GT area
Great mooring in 10 ft plus of water depth, sheltered from all seas and most winds. Easy access with 6.5 feet minimum depth. Great mooring hardware and strong. Looks like it will cause minimal damage to sea grass. Well spaced and allows more boats on moorings than I have ever eeen at anchor.
Easy access and quiet, protected bay.
Excellent moorings, well distributed along the possible anchorage areas. I’ve been there before the moorings and now I believe the anchorage can accommodate more boat - with safety - than before. Price is too high, 1$ per foot with absolutely no service or amenities.
Morning pendants need larger polypropylene loops just below the eye to make pickup easier.
