Overall it was a good experience. The docks, parking lot, and recreation area were all well kept and clean. They had food trucks on sight and the store was well stocked and immaculate. The booking was excellent and the staff were great. I was checked in immediately and received my tags for the trailer and boat.
My only complaint was that I was given a courtesy slip as my reservation and there was no electrical hookup near by. The problem with having a reservation in a courtesy slip is that if a boater came in to buy something from the marina store while I was out of the slip, they could unknowingly park in my reserved slip. I don’t know if they overbooked and decided to use the courtesy docks for more reservations or if that is a regular practice. I’m glad I didn’t have to address that issue with another boater.
