New dock and facility was very nice and clean. The bad experience happened at the slip rental itself. I was not aware that the slips are actually dual boat slips. That means you are sharing a dock with another boat and have to trust that they know what they are doing. Unfortunately i think my neighbor was not very experienced. My first day on the lake upon arrival to my slip his boat had become untied from the rear cleat and was completely sideways across both spots. We had to tie off on another slip and go re tie his lines that were not properly secured. My second day out to the lake i arrived to a huge gash on my swim platform. It isn't just a scratch the fiberglass is completely caved in. Unfortunately i had no proof to accuse him. When i asked the marina to look over their cameras i was told they did and unfortunately could not see anything clear because of the distance... and i just had to trust that. While I understand things happen at the lake and it's a part of the hobby we all love to do, I just wish at the slip I would feel just a bit "safer." I'll be sticking to the single, older slips at lake havasu marina. I'll never be coming back here again. If you care about your boat and don't won't to trust it around other Boaters in tight quarters like on a dock, stay away from this place.
