Claim this MarinaBight is both unethical and unhelpful. Had to pay for 2 days even with hurricane approaching. No help when docking and shoddy service. Misled us on refund of monies. Never recommend or use again. Look elsewhere.
My family and I loved leaving our boat here. The staff is very kind and accommodating. This is the perfect location to walk around as there are a ton of restaurants, shops, bars, and watersports companies. We will definitely return.
I was on business in KW in my boat so I picked the Bight for location, price and the advertisement that they had the best internet service. Started off by waiting 30 minutes to check in (computer problems), then wasted hours trying to get the network working and finally talked to their "tech support" people who said that it really hadn't worked for a while and that they had told mgt and nothing had been done, then I got charged for having my dingy tied to the outside of my boat (First time in 20 years to be charged for a dingy that did not take up dock space). ALSO, note they have NO PARKING and NO SECURITY GATES so people can wander the dock all night long. (Secure your valuables) and you have to fight for parking and feed the meter daily. So at the end of the day, it turned out to be the MOST EXPENSIVE with the LEAST services since I had to run up several hundred dollars on my cell data and they charged me for the dingy.
We keep coming back to this marina. Great folks and a very well run operation. Surveillance is good and security is all night. Reasonable prices for Key West. We highly recommend this marina. Captain Collins
Perfectly adequate as a place to tie up your boat. Most transients are placed side tied along D dock. Power, water, and pumpout are available. The pumpout can be done right at the dock, which is handy.Docks are not gated, so you get a lot of tourists looking at boats. This is also the main dinghy dock so there is a lot of traffic from the anchorages. Shower facilities are simple and communal, not private. The best thing this place has going for is its location. You are just steps from everything Key West has to offer!
The rates were reasonable, the staff was professional and efficient, and the services (fuel, security and utilities) were great. The marina has a video surveillance system and security guards that patrol the docks at night. During the day the marina staff keeps a close eye on things. The city has done a good job renovating the office (it used to be a tired houseboat) and I am certain they will tackle a dock upgrade when funds allow. Hopefully they can score a grant for floating docks! I would highly recommend this marina. The location is great, the rates are reasonable and the staff exceed all expectations! True professionals!!!
