Cast off your worries and set a course for Swan Creek Marina. Since 1951, we’ve been the harbor of choice for folks who know that life is just better on the water. We don't just provide a slip; we treat every boat like she’s our own pride and joy, with the kind of service that’s as steady as a trade wind.
Located just a stone's throw from the Chesapeake Bay in charming Rock Hall, Maryland, our 100 slips and 20 moorings offer the ultimate "easy breathing" environment. • Protected Waters: Tucked away on peaceful Swan Creek, our facility is naturally sheltered. • Deep Water Access: With a Mean Low Water (MLW) of 6 feet and gentle tides, we’re the closest marina to the Bay. You’ll rarely, if ever, have to worry about being tide-locked.
Our docks are filled with a wonderful mix of boating enthusiasts—some who have been part of our family for decades. Whether you're here for the quiet or the camaraderie, you'll find it: • Social Life: It’s not uncommon to stumble upon a spontaneous social mixer or a friendly gathering under the shade. • Peace of Mind: If you’re looking for a relaxing escape where the clock slows down, you’ve found the right coordinates.
We believe in keeping things comfortable so you can focus on the horizon. Our annual dockage includes: • Cool Comfort: Air-conditioned heads and showers to refresh after a day in the sun. • Island Fare: A dedicated picnic area with propane grills provided—just bring the catch of the day. • The Essentials: 30 amp power, fresh town water, floating dinghy docks, and ample parking. • Storage Solutions: Wet or dry winter storage. • Convenience: On-site pump-out and a DIY-friendly atmosphere for those who like to tinker.
Full-Service Service Yard When the ship needs a little TLC, our service yard is just moments away by water. Our Mercury/Mercruiser/Yamaha/Yanmar trained technicians have decades of experience to get you back to the "5 o'clock somewhere" lifestyle in no time: • Heavy Lifting: We can haul vessels up to 40 tons. • Expert Craft: Mechanical, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance at rates that won't sink your budget.
"We’re sure you’ll fall in love with the natural beauty and the easy-going rhythm of Swan Creek. Give us a shout with any questions—the water’s fine and we’re ready for you!"
Well kept facility. Docks are in great shape, electrical is modern. When I visited recently they noted my comment that I was single handing, and put me in a slip easier to get in and out of just by myself. Staff came out to help and got me in with no issue. Plenty of water for sailboats. Very sheltered no issue with building winds when I left. Bikes were available, and took one into town. Bathrooms clean and maintained. Will come back again next year.
Had a great stay at Swan Creek. Everyone is super nice and quaint area. Lots if bicycles available to use and town is only about 2 miles away and has pretty much everything you need. Nice boaters lounge there as well. Intended on staying 3 days and stayed 6. Catamaran 42' and 21' beam draw 4'.
We had a perfect stay. Very quiet place, the people are really nice, the bikes are so useful to go in town (10 min from groceries, liquor store, West marine, etc). There is a laundry on site.
We stayed on a mooring for two nights here and could not have been happier. It was close to the dinghy dock, which was close to the office and the clean showers and restrooms. There were a number of bikes available to borrow which made getting from the marina to downtown Rock Hall easy and quicker than on foot. We enjoyed lunch and the views at the Harbor Shack in Rock Hall. The sunsets here were the prettiest ones we’ve seen to date here in the Chesapeake Bay Area. The marina would have gladly accommodated us had we decided to stay longer due to incoming bad weather. We would gladly stay here again and recommend it highly.
We took a mooring ball for the night and found the location to be so picturesque both at sunset and sunrise
We really enjoyed our time at Swan Creek Marina. Facilities are well maintained and clean. The owner Lee is a nice guy and good resource for local info.
Enjoyed our stay on the mooring. Well protected from a crazy summer storm. Borrowed the marina bicycles to pick up some sandwiches down the road just before the storm hit.
Outstanding marina. Facilities were clean and comfortable. The bikes for a trip into and around Rock Hall were a great touch. The customer service was outstanding. Everyone couldn't be nicer and more helpful. Highly recommend Swam Creek Marina!
Stayed on a mooring ball for a week. The marina staff is very nice. We arrived and found the mooring pennant damaged. Went to another mooring. The staff fixed the mooring pennant within a couple days and thanked us for letting them know. There are plenty of free bicycles for use 24/7 right at the docks. The bathrooms had 2 stalls and 2 showers. It is air conditioned and clean, although somewhat dated. There are no laundry facilities. Grocery store, restaurants, ice cream shop, farm market, dollar store are all an easy bike ride away. Will definitely return.
Highly recommend the mooring balls at Swan Creek Marina. Good water depth and if you are on 1 - 7 it is a wonderful boat parade watching everyone go in and out.
Very nice spot. Friendly people. Had bikes to use to get to town. Stayed 2 nights on a mooring.
We always enjoy our stay at this family owned marina.
This is quite a lovely location, easiest to access of the marinas on Swan Creek. It's about 1.5 miles to "downtown" Rock Hall. If that's too much of a stretch-of-the-legs, there are loaner bicycles and--on weekends off-season--the $1-a-ride town tram. Picnic tables and gas grill are available under a grove of shade trees. The bathhouse is cozy but clean. Staff is friendly as are the full-time tenants. The piers are showing their age but overall, a pleasant stay on the quiet side of Rock Hall.
We took a mooring for an overnight stay in July. Manager/Owner Lee was a friendly, gracious host and put us on their beach cruiser bikes for a short ride to a suggested eatery. The grounds are pleasant and shaded even on a hot July day. Our pup was welcomed and our whole stay was relaxed and pleasant.
We booked a mooring, but asked to change to a slip in order to have shore power available. Lee was able to assign us a slip almost immediately, making our visit much more comfortable (with air conditioning in the hot, humid conditions). We try to make this trip a couple of times a year and will continue to come to Swan Creek Marina!
Great little place. Family run. Super friendly. Nice clean bathrooms. We were on a mooring ball.
Very friendly and accommodating staff. Convenient to the harbor via foot, bike or tram car. We enjoyed our stay on a mooring close to the dinghy dock.
Beautiful, friendly and quiet spot on the Eastern side... Great stop for autumn Chesapeake travelers!
Small no frills friendly marina in a beautiful setting. Very quiet and picturesque. Courtesy bikes makes it easy to go the mile into town.
It's nice to stay at a family business. Lee and Chris were very gracious hosts with info as needed. The mooring field is a great asset and reasonably priced.
I Strongly recommend Swan Creek Marina for anyone transiting the Chesapeake or visiting Rock Hall, MD. 2 Dingy docks, water & pumpout, showers, Ice, bikes, etc. (no fuel) Family owned and run marina - clean, well maintained facilities & great staff! Peaceful setting with great views! Easy access to Rock Hall - walk “The loop” or call for the tram ($1 each way) Wife and I have been here for 2 weeks now - walked round trip most days (3.2 miles?) some days walked in and took the tram back. Bay Foods (supermarket) will also pick you up drop you off at the marina - nice! We’ll be back on our way south in October!
Nice, quiet marina located near the entrance to the cove. Not big and fancy. Well protected from all directions. Free bicycles to use for riding into Rock Hall (~1 mi). Clean restrooms. Only minor complaint is WiFi was intermittent at best.
stayed 4 times this season on mooring ball , access to town via their bikes, clean facilities, great folks
Great communication from the beginning to end...Very nice stay at a reasonable price!
Another great stay in Rock Hall this july 4th weekend. Thanks for the hospitality!
Email confirmation did not provide buoy number nor did it provide combination to get in the shower. Just make sure to call ahead even if you make an online reservation. Office was closed when we arrived. Fortunately, when we arrived to moor, someone answered the phone and gave us our buoy number. Had to get combination for showers from a slip holder. Nice quiet Marina. Loved the use of the free bikes to ride around town.
