Haven Harbour Marina

Always a pleasant, peaceful atmosphere. Although we called in for our slip assignment upon arrival, no dock hands were around despite no other incoming boats at the same time as us?. Overall, a fantastic stay!

EXCELLENT FACILITIES AND FRIENDLY STAFF.

We really enjoyed the facility. I love floating docks. Our slip was spacious. Everyone was very friendly. Bobby helped us secure lines when we arrived. There is a nice marine store as we needed to buy new 30amp power cords. The grounds are nice. We had a function near the pool and had a wonderful time. The town of Rock Hall is a nice walk; however, there is a shuttle and bikes if you don’t want to walk Will definitely return.

Very nice stay. Always clean restrooms/shower area, and enjoy being able to start a firepit with friends because HHM stocks the wood. Thanks for the hospitality.

Friendly and helpful staff, floating docks, well maintained grounds, free bikes, and the ship store is incredibly well stocked for boat needs. And the fuel prices are great if you need over 100 gallons! Lots of space for groups to hang out and play games. or relax in the shade. We'll definitely be back.

Good floating docks.. Safe Harbor. Friendly staff.

This was our first time staying there in our 40 ft sailboat. Very nice marina with tons of free bikes and free kayaks. Easy walk to town. The unisex bathroom/shower combinations are plentiful but have seen better days. The only negatives were: Restaurant was horrible. I have never seen someone ruin a smashburger but our two were inedible (charred to a crisp and too salty to eat) and the fries were too salty too and I have rarely met a fry I did not like. I essentially ate a tomato slice and a few fries and that was it. Second, there is not much lawn to walk a dog. You need to walk out on the road for contiguous grass.

Nice marina and excellent staff! The town of Rockhall is virtually closed from Sunday through Wednesday, making it difficult for meals and entertainment. Transportation is also an issue. There are few to no Ubers available. Again, the marina is nice albeit spread out but the town is a bit odd.

Everyone was super friendly and there was so much to do. The marina is very dog friendly, which was great also. We will definitely be going back in the future, it was a wonderful experience all around

Fantastic. Great facilities. Great restaurant & bar. We rented pilot house for family as well an all worked great. Needed some emergency repair parts for the boat and the prices matched. Our new goto place in Rock Hall.

Well maintained facility and nice floating docks. Pools and great sitting areas. We were there only one night and the restaurant was closed on Wednesdays so can’t report on food quality. Fuel prices with +100 gallons were very competitive.

Beautiful marina! Very spacious grounds with bikes to ride into town and floating docks, at least where we were. Definitely glad we stayed!

HHM is always a fine experience. Nice docks, in great condition. This was a big weekend for HHM. Lots of folks there. Always lively. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We had 60 folks from AYC for our annual Oktoberfest Cruise and it could have gone better. Thank you HHM.

My family and I have stayed here several years in a row. Haven Harbour has become a favorite destination. The docks and grounds are well maintained and every staff member seems focused to ensure our stay is great. On our most recent trip we had a mechanical issue and several HH folks including Greta were quick to help us getting fixed. And this was on a holiday weekend ! Thanks, we will be back.

Mooring was quiet, amenities plentiful, facilities clean and people around - friendly. Some place to walk around through the pine woods. A perfect marina to stop!

A little disappointed the restaurant was closed with out any notice. The shower curtains in the bath house were moldy and not very clean. A very nice marina and staff is friendly.

Pretty marina with nice relaxation areas. Beach games and playground was fun for the kids. Protected area for seamless docking. Would return again.

The marina was great but the restaurant Passages was not open even though the website said it was.

It was very good Except the restaurant was closed all weekend due to staffing issues. I just wish the office would have told us when we checked in. The Haven Harbour South Also no longer served food.

This was our first time at HHM. We expected great things based on the reviews but it was a real letdown. For starters, we had to practically beg a dockhand to come help us deal with a 15kt crosswind (after no one responded to our initial hail on 16.) We then were told the marina restaurant/bar Passages no longer serves food, despite what their website says. It also didn't serve drinks for us either, because Passages decided to close all weekend for staffing issues. No food, no drink available whatsoever at the marina, so we walked 15 minutes into town. Nice location and view, but for this price point you can find plenty of other marinas on the Bay that provide the basics -- dockhands, food, and drink -- to their guests.

Haven Harbor was great. Dockmaster and staff are always very helpful and accommodating. Great facilities! Still wish Passages was open. Seems like an opportunity missed!

Pulled in after 5 PM closing. Marina did call to inquire if we were still coming prior. Did message via Dockwa but no response. Bikes were readily available after hours to get to the Harbor Shack restaurant…..yes! Clean and satisfactory. Rich M.

Dockwa app was great. Some references refer to courtesy car. They do not have that anymore. They have plenty of bikes. Some need repairs and air in the tires. Pool and food trailer was great. Slip was nice.

Haven Harbour is always a great place to stay. Docks are super nice, pool is great!

Did not do a good job putting our cruising group together, just 3 boats. Other than that, it was a very nice stay.

Beautiful marina with tons of amenities to enjoy. Kayaks, paddle boards, shuffle board, croquet, corn hole, bike, two pools, one adults only, and more. Lots of places for relaxing in the shade, or on the beach area. Only two things that could use attention are 1) water pressure in some of the showers was barely a drizzle, and 2) some of the bikes were in very poor condition. The grounds are lovely, clean and well kept. We will definitely be back.

Great very clean friendly marina with everything you need from grills, kids area, bikes, pool, rocking chairs and clean showers plus a food truck!

Marina facility and staff were great. Unfortunately apparently Passages has stopped food service and closes very early so that takes a bit away from the stay. We heard same about HH South. There was a food truck on Saturday but hours are unknown.

Really enjoyed our stay! Bikes give you easy access to every part of Rockhall! Private bathrooms are a plus as well. We always enjoy a game of bocce, cornhole and outdoor chess as well.

Sheltered marina with friendly staff, swimming pool, outdoor games, nicely maintained grounds, restaurant and tiki hut. We would definitely go back.

If not for the long walk to walk the dog and having to pay $5 to pump out, I would have given it 5 stars. The people were great though and very helpful. Grocery and restaurants close enough to bike to.

Basically this is a nice marina but in transition. There are three sets of docks; RED, WHITE and BLUE. Red and Blue are floating docks while White is not and shows signs of aging and is in need of repair but if they are eventually going to make white a floating dock I can see the reason not to spend too much money on it’s present condition. I’m not saying that they are unsafe. I requested a slip on the outside perimeter so that we could see the wonder views of the surrounding areas. This was a bit of a mistake on my part because the slip was for a boat much large than my 32 foot sailboat, so much so that we couldn’t rig stern lines to the pillings because they were too far behind us. If I did move the boat back towards them my 120 shore power cord couldn’t reach the outlet. But we made do with some creative dock line setups. Part of the dock rubber trim with protruding screws were sticking out and did make contact with the hull without damage. I pushed this trim back into place on the dock but this is part of what I meant by the docks needed repair. The dock boards were very wore also. It’s a long walk to the bathroom/showers so keep that in mind if you stay in a perimeter slip. The bathrooms are OK, basic and have a light switch that’s set to go off in 20 minutes. It’s really not enough time and the light went off each time I was in the showers which required me to step out and find the switch again in the almost dark room. The Passages Bar and Grille is only a bar now (closed because we were there early in the season) but there is a fantastic restaurant called the Blue Heron which is a ten minute walk away that was superb. The marina is a decent place to stay if nothing else is available IMO. Also we were at Haven Harbor North and the is also a Haven Harbor South (previously Sailing Emporium), as the locals called them, which makes things a bit confusing. Aa name change to one of them is in order IMO.

Very nice infrastructure. Aside from receiving the dockwa confirmation, bill and receipt, you would think the marina had no staff. No contact, no direction, no wifi, no facilities codes...

The floating docks are top notch. Staff is great. It is a terrific place to stay in Rock Hall away from the traffick of the main Marina area but easily accessible.

The mooring were assigned had zero water under my keel. We were clear we had a 5’ draft, yet sat in the mud 1/2 the stay.

Wow is the only word that comes to mind! This marina is absolutely incredible. Pristine shower facilities, FREE laundry, the friendliest staff, and the community that calls Haven Harbour home treated us like long lost friends. The kindest people who invited us for drinks and were so nice to our dogs, we will definitely be back if we find ourselves up that way again. 10/10.

the docks and facilities were in great shape. the staff were very helpful and friendly. We had dinner at Passages, and even though the menu is still limited; it was very enjoyable.

The employees were very nice and friendly. The dock master and the young men at the gas pump were excellent and very helpful. The marina was well kept and enjoyed our stay very much. If you needed anything the marine store was well stocked. Even the women that worked inside were great to deal with getting us pointers and giving us advice on things to do and places to eat. Fantastic all the way and will be going back.

Marina Facilities are great! People so friendly. Bikes available which are terrific! Restaurant needs work- menu, drinks and staff are underwhelming.

This is the best appointed and operated Marina in the Chesapeake Bay! Greta and her team go above and beyond to make everything so special. Thanks so much for all you do to make our stay so enjoyable!!

Pretty nice marina IF you're on the 2 floating docks. But if you're on the White dock like we were, it is old and has very narrow finger piers that can be dangerous at night or if you have any balance problems. It was even worse for us because the dock hand tried to tie us up so the boat was way out on the end of the finger with an added step. We had to re-tie to get back to a wider part of the pier. Another problem was extremely poor management of their loaner bikes. The claimed to have bikes available starting at 8 am when they open the office/store. There were at least 20 bikes there Sunday morning, all locked and there were no keys for the locks! They don't require that keys be returned at night! Useless to have lots of nice bikes and no system to manage keys! The restaurant is only open on weekends and is just average. There are many better options in Rock Hall.

This place has everything! We arrived after they closed but called and were given our slip # and told to just hook up to what we needed and come see them in the morning. The adult and regular pool were great, the head facilities were clean, free bikes were a huge plus, and the Passages Bar and Grill has great food and even better bartenders. Terri and Hannah are top notch and knew our names after only meeting us for a few hours on Friday. We will definitely be back, this is our new favorite marina on the Chesapeake Bay!

We only planned for one night at Haven Harbor...Big mistake! Next year we will be back for much longer! Beautiful marina with wonderful amenities and awesome service!

Was on the Chesapeake this past weekend and got caught in an earlier then planned pop up thunderstorm. We made our way just clear of it and came upon the Haven Harbour Marina. They were so nice to accommodate our 23ft Center Console and we had some great food at the Passages Bar and Grill while we waited the storm out!! Thank you so much for your hospitality!!

We go to HHM regularly. It is always a great experience. It was great to see Jenny, Diana, Greta and Barbara. They are always so kind and helpful. Trice helped us with the lines as we arrived. Great guy. I am going to include one comment that is applicable to the experience but probably not applicable to HHM because they probably lease the space. My wife and I went to the little restaurant on site called Passages. We will not go back. Briefly we were over charged for drinks from the menu price and the food of crab cake platter and crab cake platter was not good. With an extra order of fries and three total drinks the bill was $131.00 plus tip. Over priced to say the least. All that being said we love HHM. Just find another place to eat. - Tim

First rate marina. Staff was excellent, very helpful and nice. We had 5 boats on a weekend stay and all had a great time. We will be back next year.

Really impressed with Haven Harbour. Nice floating docks, easy to get into,and helpful dockhands. The grounds are great - lots of places to sit ( including plenty with cover), 2 pools including one smaller one for adults only, and just a beautiful spot to lounge and relax. The ship store has an impressive stock of boat parts. We used the bikes every day to get around town which was perfect for us ( they also have a driver on Friday and Saturday nights - make sure to ask about that when you check in). Perfect place - we will definitely be back.

A true gem of a marina!

Great stay at Haven Harbour Marina; it's been a few years since we've had a chance to make it back, but all is as good as we remembered; the staff were very helpful in getting the boat docked; facilities are kept in excellent condition and the slipholders were all very friendly and helpful; Passages Bar/Grill has transformed from a literal guy with a grill many years ago into a really great eatery with a large menu; definitely will be back sooner next time

Great facility, helpful staff, plentiful clean individual shower rooms. After such a warm summer surprised pool was so cool, a hot tub would have been nice.

The physical plant at Haven Harbour is very nice, and the staff are helpful. However, we were surprised and disappointed to have to pay 1 1/2 times the normal slip rate for our 38' x 19 1/2' beam catamaran. We were berthed beside/across from a number of wide beamed craft that would normally be charged $3.00 per foot, which is not inexpensive in its own right, but is what we expected. What made it unacceptable was the fact that none of this was disclosed to us as we made reservations! Not good form and we likely won't be back...

We were very disappointed with our stay at haven Harbor. The bathrooms were filthy, the trolley service into the town of Rock Hall that was promised was nonexistent, trash was overflowing so they Backed a flat bed truck in for the overflow which was very unsightly . the pool was so crowded We always had trouble finding a chair or even a spot to sit. I did not find the staff Nor the slip holders to be a very very friendly bunch. We will NOT be back. The only thing from giving this a one star was that the landscaping around the various areas were beautiful .

Excellent stay at Haven Harbour as usual. Greta, Katie, and the marina staff were very helpful during our arrival docking and at the fuel/pumpout dock. Passages Grille now has a brunch which was very good. Get the crab frittata. You wont be disappointed.
