The marina is recently rennovated and very nice. The docks and bathrooms are all new. It's a mid-priced marina in the area for a sailing catamaran. Hunter on the staff was very helpful. The downside is that it's a bit far from town. We had to Uber to get to town and not much is walkable.
We didn't use the facilities, but the location is excellent. The town is cute and there's a ton to do, plus great access to the biking trail. Dinghy dock is easy (put your outboard up because it gets shallow at low tide).
The newer facilities at Safe Harbor Oxford are really nice: good docks, lounge, beautiful and clean bathrooms. We were at first put in the older section, the (former?) Oxford Boat Yard. The docks are fixed and we were able to move to the newer section after one night. Good thing we did because a storm rolled through and the old docks for completely submerged! The wifi cut in and out a lot, which wasn't a big deal because we had our own wifi on the boat. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Town was cute and a lot of fun to visit.
The Pros: The location is a lot of fun. It’s less than 15 minutes to walk to the beach, the Saturday Farmer’s Market, or Cova Brewery & Coffeehouse, which has different food trucks every day. The neighborhood is great, we walked around every day and it’s beautiful. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and when we had issues they did try to fix them. The docks were relatively new, floating docks, with good access to power and water. The cons: the building in front of the docks, including the marina office, is under construction. There is a trailer with showers and a toilet, but they were neither clean nor well stocked. There was constantly no toilet paper. Packages were delivered to the wrong place. I’m sure it’s going to be an awesome marina when the construction is done (Spring 2022) but it was a tough visit in the meantime.
