Recently spent two nights here as a pate summer getaway. The staff was excellent; they make it a point to assist everyone both on and off the dock. The docks themselves are newer and loaded with plenty of cleats for any size boat. The bathroom/shower/laundry facilities were spotless, and the store/office was well stocked and clean. The sunset views over NY are awesome, as is the location at the foot of the Main Street up to church street marketplace and all that Burlington has to offer. One word of advice if I may; we were assigned to A-dock facing south (odd #’s) and there was a raging south wind all night. Burlington bay is protected from the west by a stone breakwater but the die-south facing portions of the basin are quiet exposed to a long fetch and it got quite rough. The staff was more than willing to let us move the next morning but the winds died down and it was a great night. But if you are there with a south wind in the forecast I’d advise to request something in the north side of the basin. All in all I can’t wait to go back!
Dock staff expected us, dock hand on site to assist with lines and check in, Marina was exactly as advertised, piling moorings with stern against bulkhead/ladder do not for the feeble.
The staff was right on their game, reservation was accurate and there was zero fuss after being pointed to l, and assisted at, my dock for the evening. Bathrooms and grounds were spotless, and again the dock staff was friendly and professional
