We recently purchased a boat with sleeping quarters and stayed over the weekend at Ferry Dock for the first time. All the staff was great. Kyle was particularly helpful- as amateurs we needed some coaching on how to hook up the electrical gizmo etc, and he was very patient and responsive. Even though the weather was rainy we had a great time and will be back! We were up at Ferry Dock again yesterday (8/12) and the service from Haley on docking, , Layten on check in and the two women who helped me do the electrical connections , was all excellent.

Best marina on Lake Champlain. Clean with well maintained docks, showers & laundry room (free washers & dryers). The staff was fantastic, fabulous, friendly & knew their stuff. We go back in a heart beat.

One of my favorite marinàs. The staff was awesome, especially Emily and Rachel. Everything is so clean and attractive. The floating docks are great. It is so convenient to town and restaurants. I didn't want to leave the showers and laundry room. They were the best I have ever seen at any marina.

Ferry Dockbis the best run maina we have ever stayed at! The team is committed to customer service above and beyond. The facilities are spotless including the free laundry. GM Kyle helped us refill propane tanks and drove us to an Ace hardware. Asst manager Emma was helpful making our reservation work before our arrival. Highly recommend.

This is one of the finest marinas we have visited. The people are amazing, friendly, courteous, and competent. The infrastructure is in great condition, and there is a well-stocked shop at the office. I can't say enough good things about Ferry Dock.

Exellent dock hands, caring, attentive, and friendly, fully stocked ship store, clean bathrooms with their own shower stalls, conveniently located near restaurants, stores among a historic environment. Really enjoyed our stay, a marina to remember.

This place is AWESOME! Kyle and his crew were fantastic, always there to greet me coming back to the dock before I got there. The bathrooms and showers were spotless and brand new. Free laundry and laundry supplies . The best gas prices I found on the Lake AND free pump outs! They even helped me to load my boat on the trailer when I left. I will be back next season and highly recommend them.

The installation was very perfect and clean. The marina should consider installing a wave breaker and also assign member docks to visitors to avoid waves and winds. We had difficulty sleeping.

Beautiful Marina, a gorgeous Harbor / Bath house, with Laundry room, Free of charge. They even provide detergent and dryer sheets. All employees are friendly & professional.

We just held an amazing media event at the Ferry Dock Marina for Taiga Motors and thanks to the staff of the marina, it was a great success. Kyle and his team really went above and beyond to ensure we had all we needed and were always available when we required assistance. We truly value the amazing work that they do. The area was impeccably clean with great resources such as a convenience store and a delicious restaurant called The Spot on the Dock. We really felt part of the family and we will be back! Thank you again for the warm welcome and we strongly recommend the Ferry Dock Marina - great job!

Courteous, friendly, and very attentive to all boaters needs. I highly recommend Ferry Marina with it’s beautiful sunset views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains. Plus only a short walk to all that Burlington has to offer.

We’ve been boating on Lake Champlain for 20+ years and have to say Ferry Dock Marina is hands down the best on the Lake. The location is perfect as it’s only a short walk to Church Street. The docks and utility hook ups are new and the bathrooms/showers are nicer than what most people have in their homes….truly on another level! The ship store is new, bright and airy with a tasteful inventory of cool garb, souvenirs and liquid refreshments. What makes this marina truly special is the service boaters consistently experience. Everyone who works at Ferry Dock Marina looks and acts professional and we always appreciate being greeted with smiles. We HIGHLY recommend FDM and it remains our #1 destination on Lake Champlain

Awesome marina! Still developing and improving. I credible waterside restaurant and bar. I go there at least once a year and stay for several days each time even though it takes me two hours on plane to get there! Within walking didtance to all the Burlington restaurants and activities. Conveniently has its own gas dock, too.

Recently spent two nights here as a pate summer getaway. The staff was excellent; they make it a point to assist everyone both on and off the dock. The docks themselves are newer and loaded with plenty of cleats for any size boat. The bathroom/shower/laundry facilities were spotless, and the store/office was well stocked and clean. The sunset views over NY are awesome, as is the location at the foot of the Main Street up to church street marketplace and all that Burlington has to offer. One word of advice if I may; we were assigned to A-dock facing south (odd #’s) and there was a raging south wind all night. Burlington bay is protected from the west by a stone breakwater but the die-south facing portions of the basin are quiet exposed to a long fetch and it got quite rough. The staff was more than willing to let us move the next morning but the winds died down and it was a great night. But if you are there with a south wind in the forecast I’d advise to request something in the north side of the basin. All in all I can’t wait to go back!

Kyle runs probably the highest level of service we have ever had at a marina. Hailey and Grant were excellent as well. The docks and facilities are new and first class. The restroom/showers are second to none in our 25 years of cruising! Good job team!

We stayed there for a few days and enjoyed the marina very much. Dock hands were friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Kyle who is the manager and attentive to boaters needs. Docks are pristine and power is the best we have experienced. WiFi is very fast. Best on the lake. Centrally located to Burlington.

The dock staff is honestly the best we have ever worked with. Not only were they prompt and attentive, they were prepared for us ahead of time. They actually were waiting for us on the docks upon arrival! The Burlington Ferry Dock Marina never disappoints. We have made sure to make this amazing establishment a permanent part of our Summer plans with both our J29 and now our Grand Banks 32. We would very much enjoy a slip with a view the next time we visit in Summer 2021. While we understand the reasoning behind the transient dockage, it would be nice to have a dock designated for these transient boats to have a view of Lake Champlain, rather than hiding in the corner of the marina. We need to let all see how beautiful Burlington Lake Champlain is! Well Done! Pat & Josh Teague

Super Great Marina! We weren't sure we'd like a slip downtown, but Ferry Dock Marina changed that! This was our best summer on Lake Champlain. We have had a boat for the past 35 years and a combination of the new Ferry Dock Marina and great weather made this a season to remember. The friendly and helpful marina helpers getting us off the dock and helping us dock our boat made some challenging returns very comfortable. I believe the Ferry Dock Marina is the best marina on the lake and with the proximity to Church Street in Burlington makes it all the better. Cheers. David Holton

We have had our boat at Ferry Dock Marina for five seasons now. We have watched them invest in and make more and more, much appreciated, improvements to the Marina year after year. The location is perfect but the best part of This Marina is the staff, their positive attitudes, willingness to help and how much they care for our boats and the all of us is unmatched.

We had stayed at the Ferry Dock Marina a number of times and liked it so much that we were seasonal members this past summer. What an amazing marina! The service is excellent. The dock hands really know what they are doing and are very helpful. The Clubhouse is the best we have seen, including beautiful bathrooms with excellent locally sourced amenities and FREE laundry! Unbelievable. But what really make FDM stand out is the community. It is a wonderful group of dedicated boaters who all love Lake Champlain. People are on the docks all the time, getting to know each other and creating a very welcoming group. And the location can't be beat. The sunsets are beautiful and there is an excellent restaurant right on the dock, or many others within walking distance. We cannot recommend FDM more enthusiastically! Thanks!

I can not say enough about the team at Ferry Dock Marina. The staff is super professional and conscientious. They have a good crew that seems to be enjoying working there as much as their clients like being on their boat. They're continually re-investing in the facility making it better and better each year. Recent ugrades include new docks, a nicer bathroom / shower facility and improved parking. Best of all, they create a real sense of community amongst the folks who have their boat there. My boat neighbors are great and they all enjoy having their boat at Ferry Dock Marina! I highly recommend Ferry Dock Marina!

We are Burlington locals, so we are lucky to have our boat here all spring and summer. We love the community at this marina; the staff are always happy and responsive to our individual needs as well as sharing insight about lake conditions, etc., and our neighbors are kind, helping with lines, sharing cocktails, describing their days on the water. We are "almost" as happy sitting and viewing the high peaks from our slip with this community as we are out on the lake!

The team at Ferry Dock Marina is outstanding! They're bright, generous, and non-judgmental! We're just a lil 18 footer...on the wall, but they are eager to roll out the red carpet for us any time we need anything. We’ve been to many of the marinas in Charlotte and Shelburne. After being out of the water for 4 years, joining this marina has by far been our favorite. The dock hands truly make the experience better. Friendly, helpful and professional, they are always there with a hand when needed! Working with Hayley is amazing. She returns emails promptly and professionally and I love chatting with her on the docks. The cleanliness of the club house, the amazing flowers on the docks - not to mention our favorite blue ADK chairs - help make this marina special. Of course, being downtown doesn’t hurt either! We had the most amazing summer and can’t wait for May 2021! Cheers to the staff and owners that went out of their way to make this a great summer for all of us!

We have been staying at the ferry dock marina for over seven years now! There isn’t any other marina that I would want to be at! All the employees have wonderful smiles and are so helpful they are right there when you need them. The marina has the convenience of being near several restaurants and is walking distance to downtown Burlington. There’s only five stars here but I would give them 10!

Friendly people and great facilities

The folks at Ferry Dock were incredibly helpful. I mistakenly booked for a day early, let them know AFTER, and they transferred me over. My wife and I are newbies, with a little sailboat, and they moved us to the most protected slip, gave us extra fenders, and helped us out a bunch.

Staff is excellent! Bathrooms are super clean. Food and drink options within walking distance everywhere even during COVID. I would recommend this Marina to anyone enjoying VT and Lake Champlain.

Wonderful stay as always. new marina facilities are immaculate and tastefully decorated and much appreciated by us and our boating friends. May of us do feel however the marina staff do need more training receiving boats at the docks, and to not remove mid cleat lines during docking from a moving boat, or clearing off a boat u til the captain is certain the boat is actually in the slip to prevent from hitting the post or adjacent boats in the shared slip. They are most friendly and accommodating but need to learn the ropes of boating a little more.

Totally outstanding Marina. Every aspect of what a person could ask for of a marina is captured by Kyle and his Crew of young, energetic and competent marine professionals. Their positive, Can Do Attitude is what makes this place such a fine value. Also, the docks are new, the laundry new and the showers and head facilities all brand new. There is a great restaurant on site and you are within walking distance of Burlington’s downtown and famous Market Street. If I ever pass thru again, you can bet I’ll be mooring my boat here.

The staff at the Marina were kind and all around excellent. The restaurant was fun and great food. The facilities were exceptionally clean. We put our name on the waiting list for a seasonal slip and hope to get one next summer. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Very professional dock staff. Very much enjoyed meeting them. They were always friendly and offered assistance if needed. Docks very clean. Fantastic brand new bathrooms/showers and laundry facility. Spot on the Dock is right there for lunch/dinner and easy walking up to town for groceries or activities or meals. Also a free bus shuttle will take you up to town right near by. Great location. Highly recommended.

Beautiful week end the staff and the place are both incredible. The restroom/shower area are family friendly and very useful with young children....

Finally they added showers and laundry facilities. We had to use the restaurant's toilets in years past, however; the marina now has the finest facilities I have had the pleasure of using in my ten years of traveling the east coast.
