In early July (2019) we stayed one night on a mooring ball. The staff were friendly and helpful and the launch service was prompt. We had the mooring field to ourselves which was lovely. We got to watch the sunset over the glistening harbor. The yacht club has a casual quick service restaurant selling buckets of beers and burgers and dogs. The yacht club members were friendly and welcoming as well. This is a nice quiet spot to get away. We would come back. — We returned for 3 nights in July 2020 and used this as our home base for exploring the harbor islands. Great staff, clean showers, prompt launch service. Overnight is nice calm waters.
Peddocks is out go to daytime mooring on a hot summer day. This was our first overnight, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We stayed two nights in a row to really chill out. Great views of the sunset over Boston. Mornings are peaceful, afternoons and evenings are lively in good weather, and things quiet down after sunset. Not at all crowded for overnight on a weekday, though around 5pm all moorings matters have been occupied by day boaters. Mooring field is fairly distance from big boat traffic as well as open water, so fairly calm.
Early in July we stayed one night on the guest dock. The staff were very helpful and friendly and they had dock hands waiting for us to help us dock the boat. They pointed out the attractions nearby and were patient in helping us figure out how to connect to dock power, something we’d not done before. The bathroom and showers were good. The location of the club is nice, right across the street from Nantasket Beach with lots of cute beachy restaurants and bars. We went to Jake’s Seafood right next to the marina for dinner and were not disappointed. We also enjoyed the easy access to World’s End. They were not as responsive via the DockWa interface as we would have liked but we found it easy to communicate with them by phone. We definitely plan to come back!
Arrived late on a Friday night and had no trouble coming in and finding our mooring. Location is tucked away deep in the harbor, so well protected and calm water. Good spacing between moorings.
Our visit to the yacht club was excellent. We were promptly met and escorted to our mooring and launch service was quick and easy. The showers were very clean and well maintained. We headed upstairs to the 3rd floor for a drink at the Yacht Club Bar. The members were quite friendly and we had lively conversation with several folks. The drinks were well made and at a great price. View from the 3rd floor balcony over the harbor is hard to beat on a great night.
