This was our first time at this marina, and we had an amazing weekend, and already rebooked before we left! The dockmaster and dockhands, especially Noah, were so welcoming, friendly and helpful from the moment we backed into the slip until we left and they helped us untie and shove off!! The facility has great amenities with the marina, pool, beach, live music, happy hour, restaurant, rooftop deck and tiki bar - those two lady bartenders were the BEST! Everything was clean (including the bathrooms, which were spotless) and seemed either new or well maintained. The lifeguards in the pool area could be more welcoming, friendly & attentive, especially when guests first walk in and try to figure out where to set up, etc. Otherwise, like I said, the resort & marina were amazing and we love it there, and can't wait to go back!!
When we arrived the dock hands barely helped us, and didn’t offer to tie us up. The pump out boat they advertise was basically non existent. I think he was so busy on all the other docks he had no time for the transients. After two days of calling on the VHF, and trying to schedule it, he finally got to us when we had the engines running and were just about to pull out and go home. He was a great guy (Tony), but he’s just too busy. Otherwise, the floating dock itself was great and the location couldn’t be better! It’s new, clean, wide open in front for easy docking, and it’s right at the edge of the village. The bathrooms are small and a few minutes walk away, but always clean.

We had a great time during our first stay here. The marina location is perfect, being right next to the village and in walking distance to all the shopping, restaurants, LIRR train station, and Shelter Island Ferry. The floating concrete docks are great, the bathrooms & showers were clean (w/lock to keep it separate from public restrooms) and dockhands were friendly, skilled and very helpful!
