The YC directed us to the Hector Quay which is run by the town and located right at the town. Showers, toilets and laundry in a small building. Lots to see and do. A couple of good restaurants. Not much privacy.

You have to be a guest at the Resort to dock, can not even stop for a meal without being a guest.

Narrow channel in. Depth OK but just OK. Has a very popular restaurant. Fried fish, clams etc. No electricity or dockside water. Toliets in restaurant building open all night. Local place to fish off wharf - great for catching mackeral plus even flounder.

Restaurant /bar on wharf. Electrical?, toliets, water (dockside?) - small club house may have showers or laundry but I didn't see any. Nothing else close by. Nice beach for swimming.

Update - the wharf association has added slips with no amenities. There are two restaurants on the wharf and the lighthouse has toliets. The marina is still very popular. The channel in has been narrowed by storm. Do not try to take a shortcut from the south or east - go to in front of the wharf and stay starboard of the green bouy's.

A little ways in by a long channel. Has a section light to mark channel with good depth but DO NOT DEVIATE - mud flats and weeds rise up quick. The section light is green white and red. If you see white you are on course - red and green are not good. Past the section light follow bouy's. Inside wharf is very shallow, outside wall is deep. Electricity, 10 amp. Water tap on fish plant wall (very rusty water - let it run) No toliet but very close gas station has a clean toliet. As does a restaurant that overlooks the wharf. Interesting and good food. Burger place a short walk.

This is right in Pictou close to museums, the Hector tall ship and good restaurants. Lots of empty slips. Water and electricity (10amp but a little flaky) Toliets, showers, ice and laundry. Marine and auto parts store nearby. Gas nearby (9 to 9) Across the road Thai has great food (young waiters may confuse order though) Mrs Macdonalds one street up is great fine dining. Several others general restaurants. Lots of live music and "crafty" things to see and do.

No toliet or water. 10 amp electrical. Watch your depth coming in - stay in channel. Sandy beach is excellent. If you need water the owners of the house closest will help. No stores or anything really close by.

A bit of a surprise. Electrical, 10 amp. Flush toliet. Water (not dockside) with a sign saying not potable (only because they do not test - locals drink it)Sea kayak rentals. Harbour master will drive you to a store for provisions. Good depth - not much room, a lot of boats for its size.

A wharf not a marina. Not much more than 5 feet for the channel in at low full moon tide. Electrical 10amp plug on fish shack side. Water at the fishing shack. Locals are very friendly and will offer rides to nearby store (3km) that has gas and some marine spares.

Good shelter in a storm, one portable toilet, water, electricity no gass, a camp ground within walking distance with bread and a few canned goods.

Nice stop - electrical on wharf - restaurant is closed but may re-open. Nice beach, campground nearby has showers and a few supplies like ice cream :) Watch for rock reef around point from the south - take a wide berth and come in straight to the wharf harbour entrance.

This is basically a fishing wharf but the fishermen are considerate witht the pleasure boaters. On site small restaurant, community washroom - no shower, and dockside electricity - water is available but not dockside. Stores within walking distance - gas across the road. Nice stop
