Pictou Harbor |
Located in Pictou Harbour on the beautiful Northumberland Strait, The Hector Quay Visitors Marina has been a popular stopping place and seasonal port for over 20 years. Pictou’s fog-free harbour with deep water barrier-free access, combined with the warm, calm seas of the Northumberland Strait make it a perfect port to enjoy your boat and the offerings of a picturesque seaside town. Take a leisurely stroll on the Jitney Trail. Fish for Striped Bass and Mackerel off Market Wharf. Enjoy weekly live entertainment on the marina stage, and a bite to eat at one of our on-site food kiosks. You’ll find pubs, museums, shops, recreational activities and other services are all within steps of the dock.
2022 BOATER SERVICES – REDUCED CAPACITY
While the marina operates at a reduced capacity for the 2022 season, we still have the welcome mat out for visitors with three available mooring balls for overnight stays. On-site shower facilities, a staffed marine office with visitor information, ice and food vendors all make for a comfortable stay. Ask us about our visitor laundry and provisioning services. Boaters visiting for the day are welcome to tie-up on the floating dock located on the east side of Market Wharf. Trailering your boat to Pictou? Please feel free to use our cement pad boat slip and convenient nearby parking.
We look forward to welcoming back all of our seasonal and visiting boaters next summer and operating with expanded accommodations and services in 2023.
This is right in Pictou close to museums, the Hector tall ship and good restaurants. Lots of empty slips. Water and electricity (10amp but a little flaky) Toliets, showers, ice and laundry. Marine and auto parts store nearby. Gas nearby (9 to 9) Across the road Thai has great food (young waiters may confuse order though) Mrs Macdonalds one street up is great fine dining. Several others general restaurants. Lots of live music and "crafty" things to see and do.
