The marina was gorgeous and clean, the dock hands were the sweetest kids ever, the location is perfect, and the daytime stay was an A+. BUT we had to call the police after 10 pm for the enormous dock party that left us unable to even hear our TV. Even after the music was forced to be turned down by the police the boat partied, people screamed and sang loudly, and guys were peeing off the dock on the side of our boat. I write this in the morning feeling drained, exhausted and overall sick from lack of sleep. This will be a âdaytime onlyâ marina from here forward which makes me sad, because the physical marina and staff were absolutely wonderful.
Complete shit show! After circling in high winds and with a damaged prop for 1/2 hour amongst 4 other boats we called the office. Asked why we were watching people without reservations getting in before us. âReservations donât really matterâ we were told.. âdockhands are busy and will get to you when they canâ. 1.5 hours later we were brought in and rafted up to another boat (raft ended up being 6 boats long) and the marina owner told our neighboring boat who complained âif you donât like it than leaveâ. 11 of us 35â - 60â boats ended up being rafter stern to stern, 6 in one row and 5 in another. Couldnât even see the water. Drunk people were scampering across the boats at all hours of day and night. Our boat now has foot prints, dog prints and rub marks all over the decking and sides. For that much $ it is a joke! If you expect it, fine. But we had no idea THAT was the culture there and will not return.
We never made it there due to engine failure BUT they called us and were willing to push up the stay from fri/sat night to sat/sun night. We couldnât take advantage of that but it was really nice that they offered. They get an A+ for trying to accommodate us!
