Fantastic marina. The staff is friendly and helpful. The heads, showers, and laundry are spotless and well stocked. (there was even a hair dryer!). Excellent courtesy vehicle. The only thing to note is that the moorings are fairly far out from the marina. Rockland is a great little town to explore with a fantastic art museum.
Everything was easy, the mooring was in good condition, and the harbor was quiet, until the fishing boats headed out. We did not go ashore.
It was a beautiful location. Staff came out in a launch to lead us to the mooring and stood by to offer assistance if required.
The harbor is well protected. The north entrance is challenging but necessary draft depending. We were disappointed that the diesel pumps were not working especially because we called them about an hour prior to arrival to let them know we planned to first go to the fuel dock and they never mentioned the issue. The Dockwa description mentions a “welcome packet” which never materialized. And the restaurant was closed even though the website says they are open.
